If your cat eats too fast and throws it up or gets the runs you can mix it with dry food. I do as a precaution since my cat gets insane diareah and can't control his bowels. The smell is overwhelming. He's a very social cat with an antisocial situation with his digestion! For some of the negative comments about this product it sounds like their animals may have been allergic to potato or had IBD. Some comments I read were clearly about a different Blue Buffalo or Cat Food product and not this one.
