Maxtrac Suspension (713120) 2" Rear Lift Shackle for Ford F-150

Great product with challenging installation. My 6 ton jackstands we’re not tall enough still needed a block of wood. instructions were good but lackedsome installation helpful hints. For example you need to jack up the axle to remove the top shackle bolts. Also greasing the rubber grommets eases insertion into the mount. 1 inch lift is achieved not 2 inches as noted in the listing. Results were good on my 2014 FX4 After installing Bilstines in frontthat provided one and seven eights inch lift.

These are just what I was looking for, after my son replaced the regular shakels with taller low rider type. These are very well built, asks I like the fact that you can grease these units. I would give five stars, but the grease insert was difficult to install. Also these are a big job for one person to install, it took me a while. I have air impacts and a floor Jack. I think these tools are a must. Very difficult to break the old bolts lose. So unless you have a lot of tools at your disposal, which I do, I would have these installed by a mechanic.

Raised the rear of my F150 up an inch and leveled it to match the front spacers. Installation was easy except for the driver's side due to a frame damper being factory installed (see picture) I ended up loosening the leaf-spring u bolts, dropping the axle all the way down and manipulating the leaf spring to remove the upper shackle bolt, the passenger side didn't require as much effort. Research drop shackles for more information and howto's in some f150 forums. Good quality part, nice welds and the shipping from Socal to central VA only took 2 days.

Lift is only 1". Which is all i needed to make my truck sit level. I have a 2" front leveling kit install and 1200 lbs of tools in the back of the truck. This shackle lift gave me the 1" needed to make my truck sit level and keep my headlights out of the tree tops. I drive harsh oil field roads and have had these installed for 6 moths with no issues. If anything the rear suspension felt a bit smoother after installation.

Pretty easy to install would have been very easy if i had a taller jack. improved ride according to my wife. Got the squat out of my truck

Got here in two days ca to sc on regular shipping. Easy to install. Brought my back up 1 inch. I don't keep anything in the bed but a toolbox though. Great for a little extra height.
