E&A Ice Fiber Optic Mood Novelty Lamps Lighting Glacier Lite with Color-Changing Crystals Base

I will, below, echo all of the points made by others, regarding how remarkably good this lamp is. First, though, I wish to make a point not raised in the reviews that I've read: THE SELLER, E&A, TAKES VERY GOOD CARE OF ITS CUSTOMERS. If something goes wrong...as it did, in my case...you have the reassurance of knowing that the seller will help. [Anyhow, they surely helped me.] My lamp arrived defective. It showed one color only, blue. No transition, no other colors. I did not contact the seller. I went to Amazon to try to exchange the lamp for a new one. That didn't work, however, because the Amazon robot required a credit card for exchanges, and my credit card wasn't good enough for the robot. So, I did a return, and got a refund. The seller's representative, on her own initiative, contacted me a few days later, to ask how things were going. I told her that the lamp was defective, and that I was disappointed. SHE WAS AWARE THAT I HAD ALREADY RECEIVED A REFUND, BUT NONETHELESS OFFERED TO SEND ME A NEW LAMP. I gladly accepted, and she went immediately into action. Four days later, I had the lamp. The lamp...the second one, the one that works properly...is excellent. Beautiful range of colors. Solid construction. Packed securely, in a tube of bubble wrap. Gorgeous and mesmerizing. The only defect, from my point of view, is one that others have mentioned: It runs on batteries, three AAA's, and cannot be plugged in. I was aware of that when I bought it, but I mention it here as a suggestion to the seller: I would gladly pay a few dollars extra to have a plug-in cord. Perhaps others feel as I do. Overall, this is a beautiful lamp, all that one could ask for [excepting the battery bit], and is quite a bargain for the price...and is sold by a company that treats its customers [or, anyhow, THIS customer] very well. Five-stars.

Is fiber optic is absolutely gorgeous, so pretty? I have no complaints about this. It's beautiful.It works the first time, and every time

EDIT 2: I received a package today with not one, but TWO functional lights!! They are so pretty and seem very hardy! One for each of my kiddos, so they didn’t have to fight over it and could each have their own. The seller provided excellent and timely customer service by sending these two as a replacement for the one I received that didn’t work. I couldn’t be happier! EDIT: The seller reached out to me and told me they normally send an email to make sure the product works, and that for some reason my email didn’t go through. They offered me a refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement, so excellent customer service so far! I’ll update again when I receive the return product. ORIGINAL: I put batteries in it and it won’t turn on at all, nothing works on it. Unfortunately it’s out of my return window so I can’t get one that DOES work. I won’t be spending $15 to try again and maybe get another dud. Disappointing for my kids.

Children loved it

We had it for 3 hours and all the fiberoptic “hairs” fell out of the base. Not worth it.

Bought this knowing it was battery powered but planned on following the top reviewer's suggestion to hook it up to be on permanent power. PROS: It was easy to convert it into a plug-in device, following the top reviewer's instructions. No soldering needed and I, too had a perfect adapter in the junk drawer lol. It looks pretty. Strands are solidly attached, not falling out. CONS: They put a teensy weensy little screw on the battery compartment. You will need a tiny screwdriver to open it. Mine fibers aren't fanning out as much as I would like. Not even close to half a circle. Was hoping it was bushier. Tried manipulating them but no luck. Maybe they'll bend down a bit more in time. Would have liked to be able to set it to a fixed light rather than have it cycle through all the lights. The brighter lights are a bit too distracting for my taste, can't have it sit near my TV. Other than that, it was cheap to try rigging it - beats going through batteries! :)

I love this little light. It gives off more light than I had expected because of the crystals in the base where the light also shines through. The colours continually cycle through a rainbow of colours. It's perfect to have on whole listening to some relaxing music in the evening. If you have a kid I think this would be a great light for a bed table. I had a wand with a Fibre optic top like this lamp when I was a kid loved watching it. It seems pretty well made and the batteries put in were just cheap dollar store ones and they've been going for hours. I would definitely buy again.
