OK, so it holds a Roku Ultra - that's the simple part.I was concerned about how I would mount this. They take all the guesswork out of it, other than whether you want to mount it on the TV or the wall.Wall mount is simple - it comes with screws. If that works for you, you're home free.I wanted a TV mount, so that the HDMI cord would stay with the TV. You have two options: it comes with clips to mount via air vents on the back of your TV, OR adhesive mount.Since my TV doesn't have air vents (wonder how that works?), I used the adhesive. It's glued to the back of the mount; just remove the protective coating, and stick the mount on your TV. AND, the adhesive is made by 3M; what more could you ask for?I will admit that I had a little trouble getting the protective layer to get started coming off; there are two tabs to grab to pull off, and they were stuck to the adhesive underneath. I got a knife to break the seal between the tab and the adhesive. Once I did that, the rest of the protective layer came right off.This must be good stuff ('activated' by pressure, according to the directions); you take off the protective layer, press the mount against the TV and hold for 30 seconds. Then you have to wait 30 minutes before putting the Roku in the mount. So this is NOT just simple adhesive tape; there's some engineering behind it. Guess the adhesive is made to outlast the TV!Very impressed.

I needed this because I was upgrading my Roku and didn’t want it just dangling from the wires. It came quickly and was very easy to install. I installed it on the wall behind my tv because my tv is fairly small, but if you have a bigger one you’d be able to install this on the back of your tv with no problem. It comes with a couple of options for installation (3M-like mounting tape and clips, or screws), so you should be able to use it no matter what your particular tv setup is. I’m satisfied with this purchase.

Like many others, I wanted to get a streaming box that could host the various streaming apps without having to use my dumb, "smart" TV, which has limited apps and likes to buffer a lot. So I took my time and researched the various ROKU devices and decided on this ultra version for the front room.Install was super easy. I did have an issue trying to get it paired with my old Samsung TV. The pairing was simple but my TV didn't like any of the codes. The one I did eventually find, doesn't have all of the buttons mapped correctly, so every now and then goofy things will happen, like closed captioning suddenly kicks on. LOL. But the main functions works, power, mute, volume, etc. So it's fine.The mounting bracket fits perfect on the back of my TV. Literally, just slides into the venting slots along the top. No problem. Remote signal has been perfect, no issues with the TV itself, and I haven't had any buffering issues, like the SMART TV did.One of my favorite options, is plugging my headphones into the remote, for the sound. This was the main reason I wanted this version. That and the blue tooth feature. Both serve the same purpose, to kill the volume from the TV, so people can sleep, yet still let me enjoy the sounds from my shows when I stream at night. The remote batteries do get sucked dry when using the headphones in this way, which makes sense. Still not a deal breaker for me.All around a great device and I'm glad I purchased it. Oh, this also works with a projector that I recently purchased. So having that flexibility is a slick option.

This mount works perfectly with the Roku Ultra purchased after September 2020. Just make sure to select the "Updated Model (2021)" and not the "Original Model (2016)." There are three mounting options: hooks for the vents in the back of the TV, which won't work with my new Samsung TV; 3M mounting tape which I don't want to use because it will never come off. So, I went with option three and mounted it to the wall next to the TV mount using the supplied screws. You don't need to drill into a wall stud because it weighs next to nothing. It took less than five minutes to set this up. I'm very happy with this mount!

This is the second one of these I have bought. The first one I mounted to the wall next to the t.v. mount. The swivel mount for this t.v. gave easy access to the wall behind. It was an easy install and looks neat and tidy. The Roku Ultra fits in it perfectly. There was no shelf near the t.v. to put the Roku device on, so this was a great solution. The second one was for a t.v. that isn't on a swiveling mount - it's flat and tight against the wall. I didn't want to take the t.v. down to mount the device, so I decided to try the included rear vent hooks. I had my doubts, but they were easy to use and I had it installed in a few seconds. Again, it looks clean, with the device and the wires tucked away neatly. If I had more t.v.'s, I would buy more of these. Highly recommended. I paid full price for both mounts and received no compensation or consideration for this review.

Well made, durable, and simple to install in different configurations (all parts necessary for installation are included). This is the perfect choice for mounting your Roku behind your TV (assuming it’s one of the newer models that use RF (radio frequency) and not IR (infrared) which needs line of sight. Check inside the battery cover of the remote. If there is a little button for pairing then you have an RF remote.The only issue that I had (a very minor one) was trying to remove the backing on the double sided tape. The backing didn’t want to release from the tape, but it finally surrendered to my persistence.

Roku Mount is well designed. Installation directions were easy to follow. I mounted my Roku Ultra in the back of my Samsung TV using the adhesive, waited several hours before installing the Roku and it was done! Works as it should hassle free. Very happy!
