Buy it. Just do it.
BEST BUY EVER. Attached is a photo I have this maxed out and you can not see my baby in the box. Pros: works above and below the humid box, it has a dial so you can go low humidity, high humidity. It is silent. You cannot hear it at all. The automatic shut off feature when it detects low water has worked for me so far. Con: in the directions, it says that you have to really careful about the condensation which develops inside the tube becoming a problem for the fogging fan so you really have to pay attention to the tube and its health to make sure that if any water is in the tube that it goes out the other end.

Great product, great customer service!
We have had this humidifier for about a week now. For the most part it works well. I gave 3 stars because I don't like the hose that comes with it. It doesn't seal onto the humidifier, only sits, which causes a lot of leaking. It also leaks a ton into the terrarium and the bedding started having an awful moldy odor from water dripping in it and sitting. There isn't much I can do about that right now because I even tried tipping the end of the hose up so it wouldn't leak into the terrarium, but the water builds up so fast that it can't run for more than a couple hours without me lifting the hose to get the water back into the tank. When I lift the hose up, most of the water spills out because there isn't a seal from the hose to the humidifier. Aside from the hose issues, which hopefully we will be able to figure out once we get our baby into her bigger terrarium (I'm thinking we may just have to put the whole humidifier in there and forget the hose), it works good. You can choose the level at which you want for your pet. It takes some playing around with the levels to figure out where you need it, but I figured it out pretty quickly. Update: I changed the rating to a 5 star rating because I received an email from the seller informing me that I was likely missing the piece that creates the seal. They asked if I would like to have a replacement sent, and of course I gladly accepted. That was maybe a week ago and I received the part today (along with a whole new hose and suction pieces. It seems to have solved the leaking problem so far. Between a great product and quick and efficient customer service, I would give 6 stars if I could!

Excellent humidifier, works perfect after weeks of constant use but runs out of water quick.
This humidifier is an excellent addition to any small terrarium. I use it for a 12'' ร 12'' ร 18'' terrarium with live plants and two juvenile crested geckos. So far, after three months of non stop use, the humidifier still works perfect. Even with the power turned under half, it's still strong enough to fog up the entire terrarium. Ever since I have added it my plants have grown much better and my little geckos are very happy. However, even though I would say this humidifier is powerful enough to work in a larger tank (I'd say up to a 20, maybe even 30 gallon tank), unfortunately it seems to run out of water quickly. I originally wanted it to help automate taking care of my geckos. However, even though I usually keep it below the halfway mark on the dial, the water often runs out in a day; if turned very low then two days. So while the humidifier works perfect, is easy to setup and use and seems to function perfect after weeks of constant use, the only drawback to this model is that the water tank is a bit small and seems to run out fast. But if your looking for a humidifier for smaller or even mid-sized reptile, amphibian or other family member, then I'd wholeheartedly recommend this product to you and can say I am completely satisfied.

Works Great Until it Doesn't
I have now bought two of these for use with my Redfoot tortoises's enclosure and, while I was initially very happy with the functionality, I cannot recommend this product. IT LEAKS EVERYWHERE! When it first happened I thought I must have put the reservoir back on incorrectly so I was very careful ensuring it was perfectly aligned every time after that. Unfortunately it leaked again and this time I did not catch it in time and it ruined the card table that the enclosure was sitting on, which had to be replaced. Then I started setting the humidifier in a small plastic container so that if it did leak again at least it would be contained... but the next time all it did was flood the container when it leaked and shorted itself out. The first one lasted almost 4 months and, besides the leaking problems, worked great so I decided that maybe it was just an issue with the unit and I bought another to replace it. The second unit lasted just long enough to get outside the return window before it too killed itself in the same fashion. I have seen others complain about having to fill from the bottom, which is admittedly a bit of a pain, but basically every small humidifier like this uses the same fill method. OH! I almost forgot that when I first bought this I had to separately buy suction clips to hold the hose as those that come with the humidifier do NOT fit around the hose and are therefore completely useless. It only cost me a few dollars, and a couple of days, to get something that would work but if I am trying to warn you off the product I might as well list all the issues I encountered. In the end you could buy this and take every precaution to keep it in a bucket (so it doesn't leak all over your house) and then set it on something 6 inches above the bottom of the bucket (so if/when it does leak it does not end up sitting in a puddle of its own making and destroy itself) and you might get to enjoy its otherwise decent functionality for months or years to come... but that seems like a lot of extra steps to have to take and there has to be better options on the market.

This fogger is awesome!
This fogger works perfect! I use it in my 100 gallon terrarium which is 3 ft tall, the hose was the perfect length to reach the top of my aquarium. The fogger itself is easy to put together and fill with water it's quite simple just read the instructions. The lid of the fogger can be a little temperamental you need to have it on there just perfectly and sitting just right as well as the hose positioned properly with no Kinks that are preventing the flow of the Fog, you don't want water building up in the tube. If you have it all put together properly it will flow strongly and without leakage. I run this for 8 hours every night to get my humidity for my chameleon up to 90 to 100% which it works perfectly for that. My only gripe is I wish the tank that holds the water was a little bit larger because I do have to refill it every night but I'm also using it at full power. My other issue is I wish the suction cups on the hose where A Little Bit Stronger to stick to the glass or at least have something else to hold the hose tighter, it seems to want to pop off quite often. And also for me I do have to have the hose sitting on top of the screen of my terrarium it's not inside, so I would love it if they had something that could hold it there, so it's not falling over and flowing away from the terrarium. I'm sure this is an easy fix just to MacGyver it, so no big deal. Overall the thing works great and at a awesome price! Definitely worth the buy!

Very good, but not sure if it's worth the money/ Lasted a good year
So I used this for about a good year, maybe a bit more and I would say it was the best humidifier out there- until it wasn't. Going back and reading the post I see now that you were supposed to use distilled water, but I honestly read the instructions I thought when I first got it and never saw that anywhere, because that was one thing I looked for- so that may of been my first mistake. Either way, it worked very well even with regular water for a long time. The only downside is you had to refill it often depending on how high you had it going and refilling it was no easy task as you often got water everywhere. To refill it, you had to unhook the hose from the middle and also take the middle off the base- which almost always had water left in it even if it said it was empty- so if you weren't careful and knocked the base around the leftover water would splash out of there as well. You had to refill the middle by flipping it over and unscrewing a cap and you could never get it completely full which the way it was designed. Because you then had to flip it back over, there would somehow be water caught somewhere, or maybe even leaking out, and you'd drip it all the way back carrying it to the base. It would also not always want to sit probably on the base so you'd have to wiggle it around until it did, which would cause more water to splash out. It was a messy process but still one that I could deal with since the humidifier worked so well. It was more towards the end that I wonder if it was even worth the money. Again it may be because I used regular water instead of distilled, but my tube started to grow mold in it and have a smell and then there was some white buildup in the base and around the cap. I deceived one day to try and clean all this since it as probably not healthy for my hermit crabs that I used this for to be breathing it in all the time. The tube was, as imagined, a bit of a challenge to clean as you couldn't put anything in there to scrub it and could really only run water and stuff through it but I eventually was able to get the mold out. When I took the base to the sink to clean, I thought it would be okay to go ahead and submerge it some as it held water usually in it and it wouldn't really make sense if it wasn't a least a bit water proof sense it was a humidifier. I didn't realize until after that it literally had an opening on the bottom that went into all the electrical stuff and I had probably gotten water in there as well- turned out to be true as it at first would turn on just a bit and then wouldn't turn on at all. Although it was completely my fault, I find it a very faulty design that they would make a humidifier that couldn't even be cleaned with water.. the thing it's designed to work with. While trying to get the base to work again, I ended up dropping the middle part, which was full of water at the time, on the floor and it then shattered since it's only made of plastic. I was just glad I hadn't dropped it sooner when the base still worked or I would have been more angry about it. Overall, I think the design is very faulty and could use several improvements, but it was still a very good humidifier. I'm just not sure if I want to spend another $60 purchasing another knowing that it may only last around a year. I feel I could purchase a much cheaper version and get about the same use out of it, if I'm going to be replacing them often.

Works well. Plants/frogs love it. not super convenient to refill- but doesn't need a refill often.
I am updating my review.. I have now had this product more than two years. I actually changed to a 5 star review now. This product is still working great and I have not had any issues at all. I only use distilled water in it- which probably does help keep any mineral build up. I do clean it out every 6 months or so. But it still works as good as the day I bought it. I will be extending it to a second habitat soon - hopefully it can work for two habitats just as good as it has for one. I highly recommend this product. I have had this product just over a month now. I have to say, I was worried after reading a few reviews about it leaking. But I wanted something larger like this for my (new) dart frog habitat without having to jerry-rig something up. When it arrived, I made sure to set it up inside a Tupperware container that was large enough to hold all the water if it should leak. So far, no mishaps. I like the dial so I can control how heavy the fog is. I have this set to a med-low and on a timer that comes every hour, 15 times a day for 10 minutes. This works really well for my plants that are in the habitat (they are growing super fast!) and one of my frogs - he likes to be sitting right at the spot where the fog comes in as it starts. The only thing I dislike - and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars- is that you have to refill from the bottom. Granted, I only have to refill it about once every almost 2 weeks, but I have to remove the top hose, remove the canister then set it on a towel to remove bottom cap and refill. I have arthritis so I have to set this down on something to refill it as I cannot hold it and pour in the water. I do wish it had an easy way to refill from the top. Other than the refilling thing, this is a pretty great fogger for me. I would absolutely recommend it.

Humidifier has lasted 8 years and still going
So I bought this product all the way back in 2018 for my Chinese Water Dragon. Every humidifier I purchased before this one would break within 3-6 months of continues use. My Chinese Water dragon passed away this year but this humidifier is STILL GOING. I 100% recommend this to any and everyone who needs a good humidifier that will last a long time and be reliable.

Best humidifier timer I have ever seen
Fantastic item. I do wish it came with a different type of keeping the nozzle up more than just the one it has but could not recommend this more!

Read the reviews
I've bought 2 of these, used one and to be fair it works fine. Finally got to use the 2nd one but yes not a UK plug but seemed to work fine but now the screen just flashes on and off and there's no reason for it and no trouble shooting to find out how to fix it. Not great!
