Jessica Kingsley Publishers Can I tell you about Tourette Syndrome?: A guide for friends, family and professionals

Lots of useful information
This book is small but concise, very useful information, helped our family understand a few other symptoms we didn’t know were part of TS. We actually bought several copies to pass to family members so they could get some insight.

Well worth it
The book is full of basic information about Tourettes. It uses simple language and terms that are easily understood. We bought a copy for my boys school and for his grand parents. Very helpful in getting a conversation going. It doesn’t contain any information that isn’t available on the main Tourettes sites but having it in book for allows you to highlight specific information and use as a tool for educating others.

Good easy reading for myself and child with Tourette’s
I brought this for my 8 year old and mother who’s child had been diagnosed with Tourette’s and we have all read it. To help in helping my grandson

More like an adult’s guide.
I was disappointed with this book. It was highly recommended by a pastoral worker and so I bought it for a child I am working with. It has a lot of help and tips for adults inside. The story was ok, but I feel the author bulked it up with all these tips etc because the story itself would only be a few pages if the book was sold on its own as a story. I was hoping it was going to be helpful for the child I work with, but sadly it wasn’t.
