Been using short ones for years and decided to add these to the collection. Great as always.

Great driving gloves. Bought this dark pair as a gift but I have a pair myself in tan. I appreciate that they leave your fingertips free but otherwise cover from knuckles to upper arm. They have a nice gripping material on the hands. Because of how well they breathe and reflect sun, they have a cooling effect as well. My pair has lasted me almost 3 years so far and still in good condition

4 stars due to over all ability to handle wear and tear. (Silicone grips wear too fast.)Overall review: worth the money, buy them.Pros:- No sun blisters or burns on arms/hands after hours of direct sun exposure.- Fit is mostly true to size, though it was too tight on my upper arm, probably because it didn’t have the extra give due to the seam. The gloves handled being folded over slightly for extra give without slipping or scrunching awkwardly (or at all, even!).- Glove fabric picks up any breeze or even the slightest airflow and somehow amplifies the windchill so that even in direct sunlight the gloves are cooler on your skin than the rest of the fabric. Went hiking in 98° full sun and frankly was a bit bitter the rest of my clothing wasn’t the same fabric, because my arms felt quite comfortable and then there was the rest of me, broiling in the hot sun. I don’t know how they engineered this but A++ job.- Dry very quickly. At one point I washed my hands with the gloves on because while I’d been hiking I’d wiped the sweat off my face. Not only does hand/arm sweat evaporate fast enough that I never noticed the gloves moist from that, but brow/face sweat I’d wiped away also dried extremely fast while hiking (2-3 mins or less). After washing my hands up to my wrists with the gloves on, it took about 15 minutes for them to be completely dry again - from sopping wet - through air drying.- The texture grips on the palms are very effective and very useful. Make it easy and safe to grasp your phone, keys, car wheel, books, etc. Not once did I worry about something I was holding falling due to a slippery grip.Cons:- Seams makes the cuff width a maximum - be sure to order a size up if your biceps exceed the measurements provided by Coolibar if you are unwilling/unable to fold them down to a comfortable fit.- The silicone grips detach/deteriorate far too quickly. It pains me to say this, because those lil grips really are useful but after only a single 12 day road trip (driving/hiking/photography/walking/shopping), there has been serious loss to my right hand glove thumb pad, and the pad of the palm isn’t looking like it will survive another road trip. I’m not sure there *is* a fix to this, given the design of the glove, but I’m going to be sad when the grips wear away to unusefullness, because they are very useful indeed.

It’s not irritating on the skin for me. The little grip elements work rly nice for driving. I’m 5’2 and this goes all the way up almost to my armpit, so it’s a perfect sleeve. It’s not a harsh pink which I like, it’s like a pale pink. The material is very breathable so sweating and heat isn’t an issue during the summer so far.

My boyfriend has bilateral arm transplants and needed something to protect them so he wouldn’t go into rejection. Not only protects but provides inflammation support. He loves them bought three sets

I got the small, fits great and I only have to pull it back up on my arms occasionally. I use them for bicycling and for general car protection. Much better than constantly applying oily sunscreen inside my vehicle

My skin is very sensitive to the sun and I use these gloves while driving. Easier than putting on an SPF shirt all the time and can use one glove when sun is only on one side. They are not very attractive so I would not wear out in public, but great for driving

I really wanted to love these gloves. This is usually a pretty good brand for sun protection. I own several of their hats and long sleeve shirts.Here are the things I DID like about the gloves: I love that they come in a variety of colors and sizes. One size never fits all. :) The fingerless style was exactly what I was looking for and they seem well made....HOWEVER, the things that I did NOT like were dealbreakers (and reasoning for 3stars): These adorable gloves were purchased specifically for UV protection, and how they are rated UPF 50 is beyond me. Without even stretching the fabric you can easily see through them. There is no way I am paying $32 for the illusion of protection. I can purchase $8 opera gloves and cut off the fingers. Sure they will be warmer, but you won’t have to worry about the UV rays.I’m sure the design is geared towards summer wear, but my skin is EXTREMELY sensitive to the sun and all of the little holes in the fabric are counterintuitive.If you like the style and aren’t super concerned about the actual high UPF rating/protection- I say go for it. Some protection is better than none and these are very attractive/functional gloves.

Son ligeras y frescas. Me quedaron perfectas.Cubren bastante bien.Tardaron mucho en llegar, y siempre retrasaban el envio, tardaron en llegar como mes y medio.Las volvería a comprar.

I'm not sure if I received a flawed item or manufacturing fault etc (rather than a consistent quality), as I'd understood Coolibar to be quite a reliable, premium brand for UPF wear. However, I have literally worn these ONCE for a couple of hours max, in the UK heatwave this week, which is precisely what these are designed for. The grip is peeling off already - you can see the 'pale' areas where the adhesive has lifted from the fabric.Absolutely disappointed, having never spent this much on a pair of gloves before. Want to return them, but that means now I won't have any protection for my holiday :(
