Lemonade outta lemons
Okay, I’ve had this guy for about a month plus…I used it in my install bag, and would it just block and make grabbing certain items out of bag, a nightmare. After around 3weeks I came to figure that it’s meant for my belt, tool belt. Finding that it was easier for my work flow to use the clip on the tape measure itself. So, I had a day off and was watching tool bag unloads and I was inspired to turn this tape holder to a complete pouch. With a strap from another bag and heavy reinforcing. I came up with I believe was a work pouch for my exact line of work flow. It’s been prettty sweet. It just proved that if you have something and it doesn’t serve its purpose, find it a purpose.. honestly, best pouch buy… I’ve made thus far

only really good for a tape measure
I bought two of these thinking they were a full pouch big enough for a typical 25 or 30 ft tape measure. It's more of straps riveted together, so can't be used as a pouch for nails or screws or even extra driver bits. . the metal belt clip is a bonus, and with a few tweaks to drill and reset some rivets, it might work as a sling for a 12V drill or driver, though I haven't tried it yet.

Doesn’t stay on belt
Belt will not go through pouch so have to use clip and falls off constantly
