Gollancz What Abigail Did That Summer: A Rivers of London Novella : Aaronovitch, Ben: desertcart.ae: Books Review: Ediciรณn de 2000 copias firmada por el escritor. Guapรญsima. Review: I've read all of the "main" ROL books, and I've liked them all. I waited a long time to buy this one, because it was just a novella and I wasn't sure how I felt about Abigail. It turns out, this is my favorite book of the series so far. I recently read through another series with a first-person teenage girl narrator, and that character was so flat and unrealistic. I imagine it's hard for an older man to write a book from that POV. But Abigail is fully characterized and likeable, and the plot is really interesting. It was was fast-paced, and in turns weird, funny, scary, and insightful. I LOVED the foxes (even though they are anti-cat). I really loved Abigail's voice, and I wish the author would write more Abigail novels. Not novellas. Novels. I mean, yes obviously we all want more Peter books. But I think if the author would drop the other side books, surely he would have time for Abigail as well as Peter. A friendly suggestion!

Nice short story centered around a developing character, will be interesting to see how she develops as well the new one. Recommend for fans of RoL books without hesitation

I did enjoy WADTS, but it almost seemed to be set for teens to read. I know thats what Abigail is but, I am more used to the Peter books. Hopefully one of those is coming soon.
