I purchased this after my third electric blanket failed in 3 years. I refuse to waste any more money on expensive electric blankets, so I got this as an alternative. I am very happy with this purchase! It is just as good of quality as the bottle I used 25 years ago. Mine doesn't smell like rubber unless I am filling or emptying it. It seems to only have the rubber odor on the inside. I washed it multiple times as directed and the outside is smell free! The fuzzy cover is so great, I can put hot water in it and put it right on my torso and it isn't too hot. My young child also enjoys using it. I washed the cover upon arrival and dried in the dryer. It didn't shrink and fits just right.

WE USE A LOT OF WATER BOTTLES MADE IN GERMANY THAT COST TWICE AS MUCH AS THIS 2L ONE THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND FOR 15 BUCKS IT'S A GOOD DEAL WITH A COVER TO BOOT WISH THEY WENT A LITTLE FURTHER AND ADDED A LOOPHOLE TO HANG IT TO DRY TOO.. I BOUGHT TWO OF THEM FOR THE PRICE OF ONE FROM GERMANY AS A BACK UP FOR THEY DON'T LAST FOREVER WE USE THEM TWICE DAILY FOR MEDICAL THERAPY ....AFTER A YEAR THEY TEND TO GET THINER STILL A GREAT DEAL COMPARED TO WHAT YOU FIND IN BIG STORES

Good for hot water, opening to small for ice cubes.

The only bottle I could find with the safety certified bs1970 :2012.I had a different brand burst after filling with hot water, luckily it burst on the couch and not on me.So this certified bottle is assuring.

I ordered this product to ease my cramps during my menstrual cycle and it’s amazing! I didn’t notice a rubber smell at all when I opened it and it’s completely leak free and so soft! I was pleasantly surprised by the size. I know it says not to use boiling water from the kettle, but if I have the cover on it I haven’t noticed it getting too hot with this method. With the cover off, hot water from the sink is perfect. My boyfriend also used it to reduce sinus pressure and it was warm for hours while he slept. Definitely recommend!
