Master Class Crusty Bake Fluted Round Flan/Quiche Tin, 25X3cm, Sleeved

Just received the tin today and used it to make a quiche.I was a bit worried about the pastry turning out ok as I didn’t bake it blind first. I shouldn’t have worried, the pastry was better than ever.No leaks from the filling and after letting it cool for a while removing it from the tin was easy.I wasn’t certain if the tin would be to large, but I actually think that this is the ideal size for a quiche, I used a fraction more ingredients than normal but now I have enough food for 2 days compared to 1 with my previous tin. (my wife thinks I am tight. I say “ I am just careful “) 😊

Bought because I hate having to blind bake pastry cases for quiches. It is so messy and time consuming. Tried it out for first time yesterday for a cheese and onion quiche. I left it in slightly longer than usual as wasn't sure if it would work. Pastry was well cooked all round and no 'soggy bottom'. So pleased with the results.The metal is of a good thickness and it is easy to grease and clean. Pastry didn't stick and no leaking of contents. Perfect.

Se avete problemi a fare delle crostate perfette, questa teglia è la soluzione giusta.La dimensione è di diametro 25cm ed è fatta di metallo rivestito antiaderente, quindi non serve neanche imburrarla prima.Grazie al fondo rimuovibile, è facilissimo togliere la crostata dallo stampo, e non si rischia di romperla.Io la uso principalmente per crostate dolci con pasta frolla, ed in forno l'appoggio sulla griglia.La frolla cuoce uniformemente e viene perfetta, grazie anche a tutti i fori laterali e sul fondo.Naturalmente si può usare anche per torte salate.Sulla confezione c'era scritto che c'è una garanzia di 20 anni, vediamo se tiene cosí a lungo. Confermo che la qualitá è molto alta e la teglia è fatta veramente bene.Consiglio anche visto l'ottimo rapporto qualitá-prezzo.

I wanted a deep Flan Dish and after checking the size in the description I thought this was it.The size quoted is 25 x 25 x 4.2 cm but in actual fact it is 25 x 25 x 3.5 cm.Very disappointed.

I had high hopes for this flan dish as I hate soggy pastry bottoms. Made a quiche and I'm so grateful that I put this tin on a baking tray for cooking, as the egg mixture ran all out of the tin and covered the bottom of the baking tray. So disappointed. Returned for a refund.
