these are the traditional plastic backed briefs. They are very comfortable to wear, and don't crinkle much if the tabs are tight and worn under adequate underwear.They don't hold a lot, but could be stuffed with a doubler, and these turn into an all-day briefs at a fraction of the high-end brands' price.
