We had a new puppy on the way, and I frantically ordered this so his first night wouldn’t be so traumatic. Delivery was spot on and it arrived before the pup. The little thumping heart inside is perfect, and cute all on its own. I would take it out to let friends hold it when they came over, and it was a big hit. Anyway, the pup snuggled right up to his new mommy when we put him in his crate that first night. He came out and cried a few times (he needed to go out to pee) but otherwise did very well. I am very happy I thought of looking for this, and that somebody had already made one that I could buy quickly. We didn’t use the heat packs, as it’s quite warm in Houston in July, but they’re sure to be appreciated in colder climes. The only issue I have is the Velcro that holds the heart compartment closed. It is Godzilla strong - doubtless to keep a mouthy pup from opening it and getting at the heart & heat pack. Just be prepared to really put some effort into getting it open, especially the first few times. And momma has held up very well to pup’s attention; she still looks great (although her tail is showing signs of wear), but he is not as strong a chewer as other dogs we’ve had.

I've been putting this in my puppy's crate every night and he seems to like it. He cuddles up to it when it's in his playpen and doesn't chew it as often as his other toys. It's like he thinks of this thing as his friend instead of a chew toy. Granted he loves chewing on me so I guess by my own logic I'm just a toy.

Gave this to my puppy when first brought her home at six weeks. She thinks it is her sibling now at 4mos of age. Plays with it all the time and won't go to bed without it!!!!

I got this for my new puppy to help crate train. First thing to note is that she didn’t really care about it or snuggle with it . She still cried , and left it in the corner . She did however play with it like it was any other dog toy. I had concerns that if she chewed or opens the section where the heart beat and pack go I would have serious problems ( it’s only Velcro, and easy for them to figure out if curious enough) this really shouldn’t be used unsupervised which defeats the purpose of the product

They really do last 24 hours. Takes about 20 minutes to warm up so plan ahead. They don't get as hot as the kind that go in your boots in the winter, but that's good because that would be too hot for my puppy. I love these and so does my dog!

This is the best for a new little puppy! Totally worth it to calm her to sleep in a new environment!!!

I have two of these snuggle puppies with heartbeats and needed extra of these heating pads. I adopted four puppies that are now 8 weeks old and we are in our coldest month. Unfortunately my house craps out when we get to below freezing tempts; and these have been great! They get really heated and last 24 hours. The puppies besides their own body heat are nice and snuggly with these and staying warm.
