Worked perfectly
I got this to use with my cctv and it's working perfectly. I had someone else install it as I'm not great with this kind of stuff but I know it's saved me money and it worksGreat product

Works as it should.
I selected this POE adapter to power a new CCTV camera that I had bought. It's difficult to give a technical review so, keeping it simple, it does the job and the camera works perfectly. My only small criticism is that the lettering is just indented and quite hard to read. However you probably only connect it once so not a big problem. Happy to recommend.

'Does exactly what it says on the tin'
In the absence of a PoE switch and not exactly wanting to spent a small fortune on one - This seemed like a great option for my wfh VOIP phone, to save me using a chunky DC adaptor in the process. I can report, that this conveniently plugs in and outputs precisely the stated voltage required. I do have some stored PoE Access Points somewhere, so will try these and repotr back on their higher required power needs. Judging by the heft and build of this unit, I don't expect any issues, however.

Limited In What Devices Are Supported
I have a POE switch that I have had no issues with so far, in what devices are supported. So long as I'm able to deliver the right amount of power through each port, devices are happy. This device however, does not appear to like much at all. Looking at the specs, this doesn't support standards you would expect.Yes it works with Ubiquiti devices, but doesn't work with much else.Considering a standard POE injector mostly does what it says on the tin, be very careful when ordering this, as this is not your run of the mill device.

for 802.3af spec, PoE - and fine in all other relevant respects I feel
For those who know what this is and are thinking, what is a safe bet, for an okay price that will do this job, this one is fine. Again, with a lot of tech it is what do you need versus what do you want, so for me it is really that if you need the 802.3af (no, it's not 'as f-' in this case, as I have been asked) specification, it is as good as any, get this and do not waste time on looking for more.If you need the 802.3at, get something like this for PoE+. And only if you really need 802.3bt get that, for PoE++. This is only for PoE, so check what you need and worry more about this than the other aspects. You rarely get something that benefits from higher than the minimum spec in this case, so if you are spending more, do it on quality.

Compact and practical
This PoE provider was straightforward to set up and integrate into my home office network. Its compact size is a real space saver, and it delivers stable power and data transmission as advertised. The build quality feels durable and the performance has been consistent. It's a practical tool for a small home office setup, though for larger or more complex networks, further research might be beneficial.

Works with Ubiquiti, not sure about throughput though
I've used Ubiquiti products for around 10 years now, I've got them deployed at many of my customer sites. The PoE module is an additional cost to each unit, and sometimes there is a limitation on getting hold of them, so being able to get an aftermarket option is great (not enough voltage from a PoE switch, so that isn't an option). The Procet Gigabit PoE Adapter works out of the box with Ubiquiti, so no issues there, then only problem I encountered was throughput. To test, I use the same power lead, the same LAN and PoE cables on both a Ubiquiti PoE adapter and the Procet PoE adapter.Connected uing the Ubiquiti PoE switch I was achieveing around 98% of maximum possible download speed, and 100% upload.Connecting using the Procet I could only achieve around 50% of the maximum speed for download and 100% upload.I tested 3 times on both devices and received the same result (not using anywhere near Gigabit nor Wifi capacity either).3 stars because although the product works, I'm not sure if I have a faulty one which doesn't allow full throughput, or if this is a generic issue with the product

Opens up a world of possibilities
I was otherwise unaware a device like this existed. What this device does is add PoE to a network that otherwise does not have PoE. If you are a home user like me, when I bough a network switch to provide more cabled network connections I did not need a PoE switch which cost considerably more.To use the box is simple. Just provide its mains power and attach one of you network cables to it This will probably be connection to your switch or router. On the boxes second port attached a lan cable and plug this into to device which can operate via PoE.As this is new tech to me the only device I have is a Raspberry Pi. I got the Pi powered and connected to the network from the single PoE injected network cable. So simple. The biggest benefit the device brings with being able to provide power and network connectivity is that the LAN cable can be able 100M long. I am current thinking possible home improvement "projects" such as installing an external video camera or external wifi signal extender. Either device will only need a single cable to provide power and network connection. The device itself is well build and is powered via a mains cable.
