**Q: How loud is this fountain? The house behind us has a pool, and we want to drown out the sound of the filter**
A: It won't  do that. Fountain won't  drown out the chirp of a cricket. Sorry.  This fountain is wonderful. Makes a beautiful water trailing sound.  You need to turn on a radio or invest in noise cancelling head phones.

A: About 5 gallons or so

**Q: I am wondering if I could drill some holes in the bottom container and actually set it in a very shallow pond so it would draw water in from the small**
A: Yes you could do that,, I would drill a large hole so the water would flow freely

**Q: Is the black pot capable of holding live plants, or is it only suited for plastic plants?**
A: I have a small pot of 'creeping jenny' in the pot... Small, as in, 1 pint that I water every other day.
