After months of use, consistently and inconsistently, I can say that my hair did grow. I got this product because I was doing so much internally to contribute to hair growth that I figured doing something externally would help my hair on all fronts. The goal would be to grow my hair so fast that any damage acquired over time would be just at my ends and would be cut off at my next trim appointment. It worked! I can’t for sure say that It was just the shampoo and conditioner (I also got the deep conditioner), but I can say that this is quality hair care products. It definitely is moisturizing. This is the sulfate free formula as well. The scent was fine for me. I can’t explain what it smells like but if you are iffy about smells, you might think that this one has a pretty strong scent. Doesn’t linger out side the shower though. As for the price, that is completely up to you. I’ve heard about this brand for several years and the price has been the same. I’ve only recently been able to afford it because of my full-time work position.
