If you are knitting and are used to yarn weights described in words, this is lace-weight. I bought enough spools to combine the threads into a thicker yarn. Got it on time. The spools are not large, but reasonable in size for the price. However, to the touch, the yarn does not feel like cashmere. It's not particularly soft. Not coarse either, but feels just like regular wool that comes from sheep. I have not started the project yet. May update as I work on it and see how the fabric evolves.UPDATE: This is wonderful yarn, so I am changing the rating from 3 starts to 5. I bought dark blue and had to combine the thread from three spools into one ball. The ball turned out to be HUGE. I used half of it to make the vest shown in the picture here.
