Kiehl'sSkin Tone Correcting and Beautifying SPF 50 BB Cream for Women, Fair, 1.35 Ounce

My skin, unfortunately, reacts quickly and strongly to emotional swings. I was on my way to a family member's funeral out of state and had a flight layover. My face was a mess - not really acne, so much as a stress break-out. I'm 54. I have light skin and tend to wear the most light and natural makeup I can find. I found a Kiehl's store at the airport and begged for some help. I bought the 1.35 fl. oz. 'Fair' of their Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream (Broad Spectrum SPF 50). It was expensive, but oh! so worth it. It covered my inflamed areas beautifully. The bonuses came later: My skin actually calmed down! I live in Michigan and the services were in Panama City, FL. As I've aged, my skin burns more easily. With the Kiehl's, there was no burning. I've been using it daily ever since. My husband says it looks beautiful on me - and he has always appreciated the softer, understated makeup I choose. I have tried NUMEROUS covers, foundations, spot-correctors, and powders. This is the first that hasn't felt heavy and pore-clogging. I also have to be careful with colors and perfumes because of the acidity of my skin. Kiehl's doesn't turn orange-y or wear off easily. Likes to peel on my skin instead of staying set

This product is beautifully smooth and, when thinned with water, leaves a lovely finish. I suppose you could use it without thinning, but I prefer a lightweight coverup. Of course, I'm sure it also lasts longer if it's thinned.

I needed sunscreen and the tint helps even out skin tone.

The product was beyond my expectations. . .
