Official RYA book start powerboating. Must have book to prepare you for the water and RYA course.

It's a small, well produced and informative booklet which covers the basics. It provided me with some preparatory homework for me to do prior to attending an RYA Level 2 Powerboating Course later in the month. Whether it is comprehensive enough I will be better able to judge having attended the RYA course but as this booklet is produced by the RYA who sponsor the course I'm assuming it will contain all the essential information required on the course.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who has talked of nothing else but boating since we hired a small boat whilst on holiday in Italy. He says it is a great little book with lots of useful information. I think he might go for his skippers licence so we can rent a bigger boat next time!
