I didn't have to pay for physiotherapy by using this brace. I was able to continue playing tennis as if I had no problem with my Achilles tendon. I used it for about 15 times during my 1.5 h exercise sessions each time the tendon got swollen. The first lasted about seven years.

Loved the quality of the brace. I play tennis and needed something high quality and durable. Worked well but was very difficult to find the correct fit even using the guidance provided on the website. I ended up calling their customer support number and the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful in providing information about the different types of braces and how to make sure I’ve got the right fit. I would highly advise a call to their customer service line if there are any questions.

This has been a find for me. I am 67yo Type II Diabetic, recovering from an Achilles tear on my right foot and am now (after 5 months) in the last phase of the mending process, strengthing my ankle and tendon...I had been wearing a large leather brace, which bound my lower leg and felt uncomfortable to walk in and had to buy special shoes to fit them. The Bauerfeind AchilloTrain Pro Achilles Tendon Support (Titanium, 5), has giving me the comfort to walk & drive(In my shoes that I had in my closet), while allowing my tendon to strengthen every day to a much greater extent than the $1500 brace...The butterfly nipples feel very comfortable on the tendon all day. I would have given this 10 stars for the freedom it has given me.
