Review: It Really Does Work - I don't understand the reviews saying this is cheaply made or it doesn't work. I've used it twice, to wash two different cars and it worked as shown in the video I saw of it, and as described in the instructions. As for being cheaply made, what do you expect for $20 ? But it's really not cheaply made: The handle and other parts are made from high quality ABS plastic. The container that holds the soap solution is of a decent size and seems to be solid and not flimsy. The spray gun handle seems solidly made and has a good feel to it and doesn't feel cheap. While it's possible to make the various parts of the foam cannon from metal, that would quadruple the price and increase its weight. So small compromises have been made with its design to keep it low-cost but it's still very effective. Though most of it is made of ABS plastic, if it is taken care of it should continue working for a long long time. So far I am very pleased with it. It created a very decent foam from soap that is not specifically a foaming soap (Karsh soap). I would imagine with a soap that is designed specifically to foam it will work even better. The dial on the soap container allows setting the foaming level. Since I was not using soap designed to foam the dial seemed to work best at #5 position which is maximum foam. For settings #1 to #4 I didn't notice much foaming difference. The #0 position puts out clear water and is very useful because you don't have to take of the cannon and use a separate spray gun. Though that's what I prefer to do to free-up my movement around the vehicle and not accidentally mar the vehicle if I get in really close. However, nothing is perfect and there are some pros and cons: Pros: -Very easy to use -Inexpensive - rivals foam cannons costing 3 to 5 times in price. -Does not require a pressure/power washer -this is a big plus in my opinion. -Works with a typical garden hose and water from a spigot. -Ability to dial-in the foam level or switch to clear water is very useful and saves time. -Comes complete - no additional items required (except soap and a garden hose with water are need). -Worked quite well for me. -Did not leak at all. Cons: -It is made mostly of ABS plastic but it does require some care that it's not abused. -Fluid container should be a larger. Overall though, I think the Pros indicate a very cost effective product. If you do get this, I would suggest that you purchase some quick-connects, as I did, for attaching to your garden hose and the foam cannon to make connecting / disconnecting it easier. In addition, a shut-off valve can also be added to the end of the garden hose so you don't have to run all the way back to the spigot to turn off the water if you disconnect the foam cannon and attach a spray wand or spray gun. In terms of Durability I did not provide a rating. Time will tell how well it lasts at which point I will update this review. If you don't have a power/pressure washer and want to use a foam cannon with just your plain old garden hose this foam cannon sees to be excellent. Just be sure the pressure from your water spigot is at a good level to maximize the foaming and distance you can send the foam (or clear water). (If you're wondering about water pressure, 40 to 80 PSI is what is recommended for a garden hose spigot for home use.) Yes, I definitely would recommend it to a friend.
Review: Not that good and not worth the price - I purchased this because of the price and I guess for the price it works okay. First off I have public water so my pressure is not to bad. This thing does not cover the car in foam like the pictures show but it does an adequate job. My next complaint is the foam nozzle does not lock into place, at first I had to break myself of the habit of grabbing the washer by the foam nozzle only to have it pop right out. My biggest complaint though, is the threads on the soap bottle are not good enough to support the weight of a full bottle if dropped. I had filled the bottle full of a mixture of foaming soap and had about one third of the car washed when i went to reconnect the spray nozzle back to the bottle and naturally with my hands being wet with soap on them I accidentally dropped the whole thing and the bottle popped right off spilling 90 percent of my soap mixture. I have a Green Works pressure washer and bought a foam sprayer to use with it and it puts this thing to shame with the quality of material, solid brass for starters, and guess what, it cost the same. I purchased this for those times when I don't feel like hooking up the pressure washer. UPDATE After using the foaming cannon for awhile I would give it minus 5 stars if I could I can no longer get the foaming nozzle to stay in the canister it just blows out on the ground and once again I dropped it because of wet soapy hands and it came apart spilling all the soap on the ground. I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy it’s a piece of junk that’s going in the garbage.

**Q: Does the 9.99 come with foam sprayer? Whats the difference between it and the "multicolored"?**
A: Hey Jason, 
The one i bought cost $16.99, i think, and yes, it came with the foam nozzle sprayer. Mine works great. It’s the one recommended to me by the guys in the detail shop where i work.

**Q: Where does the little black paddle fit in?**
A: The small paddle looking plastic piece can be used instead of the long black foam piece. Doesn’t produce much foam. Seems like it doesn’t secure in very well but it didn’t fall out when I used it. Too bad the instructions don’t even mention it.

**Q: If you have a pressure washer with its own soap container could you use this or would it be unnecessary? Or if you had this product would the pressure**
A: Don't use this with a pressure washer. It is made to hook straight up to your garden hose. They make one specifically for use with a pressure washer that has the quick connects. Google it and you will find it I'm sure. This one uses a water and soap mixture in the container and then your garden hose pressure to push it out and on your car. Remember, you just foam the car and then let it sit for 10 minutes to break down the dirt and then either hand wash or pressure wash it off.

**Q: after adding water to the soap should I shake the container?**
A: Yes, you can. I have the wash from armor all and it says to shake it some, but it still gets mixed up anyway and you set 1-5 for soap and it comes out foamy. 0 is for rinse with water.

I don't understand the reviews saying this is cheaply made or it doesn't work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective for good soap coverage

The Ontel Carwash Cannon Foam Blaster is not going to do the work for you but it does what I hoped it would. I was looking for good coverage of the soap and it did that for me. Washed the car first. Coverage with the Blaster, let sit a few minutes, went over it quickly and lightly with a car wash brush and it gave me a better result than using a mitt and bucket. Tried the same procedure on a portion of the house siding that was looking pretty sad. Same result. Highly effective.
