Works good
Works a lot better than the chemical guys foam blaster. I haven’t had any issues. If some of the reviews think this is cheaply made I don’t want to know what they’d think about the chemical guys one. That one didn’t even survive one wash

Subpar product with cheap build
If you’ve ever dreamed of combining your garden hose with the riveting thrill of subpar foam, then this is the product for you!Let’s talk about the “revolutionary foam blasting technology” – if by revolutionary, you mean a semi-effective way to cover your car in a sad, thin mist of soap that resembles a dairy spill, then sure, let’s go with that. I attached this marvel of engineering to my hose, and I’m still waiting for the “thick cleaning foam” to appear. The foam’s about as thick as a tissue paper, so if you were hoping for a frothy white avalanche, prepare to be disappointed. The five spray settings? Absolutely groundbreaking. They range from “a gentle mist” to “a light drizzle” and culminate in “a slightly stronger drizzle.” If you’re expecting the power of a pressure washer, you might want to temper your expectations. The only thing this blaster excels at is making sure your driveway gets a taste of soap, while your car remains steadfastly dirty. And let’s not forget about the build quality. The foam cannon is constructed from what I can only assume is the finest quality plastic, which feels about as sturdy as a disposable cup. I’m actually in awe of its ability to flex, bend, and generally feel like it could break at any moment. The hose connector? It’s made from the same indestructible plastic, so don’t expect any miracles if you decide to use it more than once.Cleaning your car with this? Well, you might get a decent workout with all the scrubbing you’ll end up doing anyway. I tried using the water directly from the nozzle, and guess what? It was way stronger than the foam. So, if you’re looking to save money on car washes, just get a garden hose and save yourself the disappointment of this overpriced bubble machine.

Pretty good for the price.
The instructions are really vague. I thought the water hose would fill the soap section with water and it didn’t so I watched some videos and learned that I needed to fill it with water after I put the soap in. There’s a pinhole on the top part of the nozzle so I get water spraying me as I’m soaping my car. Not a big deal since it was cheap. The settings are 0-5 with 0 being straight water and 5 being heavy foam. This works pretty well.

very nice product
This was agift, I already had one. It was admired, so I gifted that person with one. It does a good job, the foam is not thick and fluffy, but seems to work well for me.

It Really Does Work
I don't understand the reviews saying this is cheaply made or it doesn't work. I've used it twice, to wash two different cars and it worked as shown in the video I saw of it, and as described in the instructions. As for being cheaply made, what do you expect for $20 ? But it's really not cheaply made: The handle and other parts are made from high quality ABS plastic. The container that holds the soap solution is of a decent size and seems to be solid and not flimsy. The spray gun handle seems solidly made and has a good feel to it and doesn't feel cheap. While it's possible to make the various parts of the foam cannon from metal, that would quadruple the price and increase its weight. So small compromises have been made with its design to keep it low-cost but it's still very effective.Though most of it is made of ABS plastic, if it is taken care of it should continue working for a long long time.So far I am very pleased with it. It created a very decent foam from soap that is not specifically a foaming soap (Karsh soap). I would imagine with a soap that is designed specifically to foam it will work even better. The dial on the soap container allows setting the foaming level. Since I was not using soap designed to foam the dial seemed to work best at #5 position which is maximum foam. For settings #1 to #4 I didn't notice much foaming difference. The #0 position puts out clear water and is very useful because you don't have to take of the cannon and use a separate spray gun. Though that's what I prefer to do to free-up my movement around the vehicle and not accidentally mar the vehicle if I get in really close. However, nothing is perfect and there are some pros and cons:Pros:-Very easy to use-Inexpensive - rivals foam cannons costing 3 to 5 times in price.-Does not require a pressure/power washer -this is a big plus in my opinion.-Works with a typical garden hose and water from a spigot.-Ability to dial-in the foam level or switch to clear water is very useful and saves time.-Comes complete - no additional items required (except soap and a garden hose with water are need).-Worked quite well for me.-Did not leak at all.Cons:-It is made mostly of ABS plastic but it does require some care that it's not abused.-Fluid container should be a larger.Overall though, I think the Pros indicate a very cost effective product. If you do get this, I would suggest that you purchase some quick-connects, as I did, for attaching to your garden hose and the foam cannon to make connecting / disconnecting it easier. In addition, a shut-off valve can also be added to the end of the garden hose so you don't have to run all the way back to the spigot to turn off the water if you disconnect the foam cannon and attach a spray wand or spray gun.In terms of Durability I did not provide a rating. Time will tell how well it lasts at which point I will update this review. If you don't have a power/pressure washer and want to use a foam cannon with just your plain old garden hose this foam cannon sees to be excellent. Just be sure the pressure from your water spigot is at a good level to maximize the foaming and distance you can send the foam (or clear water).(If you're wondering about water pressure, 40 to 80 PSI is what is recommended for a garden hose spigot for home use.)Yes, I definitely would recommend it to a friend.

Hose connection
It can be difficult to make the right connections to get it to fit on a standard hose but once it’s on it does a pretty good job. The foam coverage is pretty good and makes washing vehicles more enjoyable.

Need to buy quick connect set for hose
Easy to use. Creates good foamy soap. You will still need to use a sponge or something to wash the car (not just spray soap and rinse). Switching between soap and regular hose is simple and only takes one second. Only issue I had was it only comes with the male side of quick release for the hose side. So if you do not already own a female quick connect for your hose you will need to buy one. And that male quick connector piece is plastic, not metal. Recommend going to local hardware store and buy a quality quick connect set. I did and the hose side attachment is standard thread so most quick connect sets will work interchangeably.
