I bought this book for my son. My son and I were having a conversation about growth. He said to me, "One thing that you cannot do is teach me how to be a man". My response was, "Son you are correct. I cannot teach you how to be a man but I can teach you how to be a better human being. After seeing the author's interview on the morning news I had to purchase this book because I believe it will speak directly to his heart as well as enlighten his mind.

I enjoyed every single thread of this book. When I wanted to stop, I could not because the message transcends my lifetime. Dr. Evans shares the clarion call for mentors to rise up, mentees to accept the challenge, and the need for multigenerational transformation. I encourage every Men’s group, whether Sunday School or Small group to study this material. Have open dialogue because this book causes us to take an inward look to produce transformation. Excellent read!

Kingdom Men Rising is one of the most inspiring, motivational, self-reflecting, heart-warming read for men who were born to make a difference in the world. Dr. Evans transparency, family life, love for his late wife, and all of his successes in life are all presented in this book. A must have for a library with purpose. The ending hit me close. God has a purpose for your life; he knew from the beginning, even the ending of your story.
