In Concert

Easily one of my favorite DVDs, but even better is the CD that came with it - Cinderella "Live at the Key Club"! The DVD is a great show in Detroit that really captures the butt-kicking band that Cinderella is. Video is excellent - audio is like a very good bootleg. The copy of "Live at the Key Club" that came with the DVD is outstanding! The sound is EXCELLENT! Live at the Key Club is my favorite of their live CDs because of the audio - seems like you're right there in the club! It's one of my most listened to CDs. I think Cinderella is one of the greatest, most underrated bands that came out of the 80's - much better and deeper than most of the big hair bands, and just a purer rock sound. Kiefer's writing and voice are unique and very cool (still is to this day - check out Kiefer's solo CD - I love that, too). And I love the guitar hooks by him and LaBar. With Brittingham and Coury, these are 4 solid musicians whose music I have enjoyed greatly since I first heard "Somebody Save Me" back in the mid 1980's - one of my favorite songs of all time. How do you beat such heavy, yet sweet guitar sound?! Awesome! They are one of the great rock and roll bands with a timeless sound! Real old school, butt-kickin' rock and roll!

Definitely an Awesome performance by an incredible band, well worth the asking price PLUS the additional bonus CD which ROCKS as well. Recorded on a HOT night in the Motor City, they are in top form in support of their release,"Heartbreak Station" , my personal favorite of the Cinderella Studio releases ;) Awesome Live versions of "The More Things Change", "Sick For The Cure" & "Make Your Own Way" PLUS all of the best loved/ favorite Cinderella hits from their releases "Night Songs" & "Long Cold Winter" If you are a Cinderella fan, do yourself a HUGE favor and buy this DVD / CD package - You won't be sorry you did !!!!! :)

Ordered this after seeing it uploaded by a YouTube user. Nice to have to watch without ads at such a low price. Highly recommended to Cinderella fans. It’s a great concert performance filmed in Detroit Michigan on tour with Bon Jovi. You see Bon Jovi’s keyboardist playing with them in several shots. The band themselves never looked better. Shockingly good quality for late 80s. Sound is good.

DVD is from a concert in Detroit, I'm guessing during the Iraqi war as Tom makes a reference to the troops coming home. The CD is a concert in Hollywood and includes Hot and Bothered, a song not on the set list for the Detroit show on DVD and was off their last album. So my guess is a concert later in time than the DVD. Anyways, the DVD suffers from crowd-noise sweetening throughout the entire DVD. I didn't notice while I was watching and listening, but when I just listened to it the crowd-noise sweetening made listening to the DVD unbearable. Its a shame that someone felt the need to oi that and ruin what would have otherwise been a good concert video. Also the 5.1 mix isn't anything better than what your receiver would produce with Dolby II or DTSs version of pro logic. The CD on the other hand sounds great, if you like real and raw live albums. Its worth the purchase price alone. So think of it as a great CD with a bonus DVD.

I buy all kinds of old 80's metal concerts. Some of them work out, some of them, not so well. I went and saw Cinderella in Detroit this past summer, and it was a fantastic show. Although this video looks mediocre from the appearance of the package, it doesn't disappoint. Even re-kindled my interest in Tom Keifer and his guitar playing. Man, I never would've thought way back in the 80's that this guy was so damn talented! Well he was last summer, and IS on this DVD. If you like Cinderella A LITTLE, I would still get it.

To be able to watch one of my favorite bands of 80’s in the comfort of my home which doesn’t exist anymore as in arena’s with certain exceptions!

I love the 80's Hair Metal bands and Cinderella was always a favorite of mine, right next to RATT. When I saw the set list for this dvd I was stoked!! Though I am still glad I bought the dvd , where are the guitars?!?! Even using a surround sound systems I think the guitars should have been cranked up. Again, more positives than negatives, but I wish essence of the band, Keifer's guitar abilities, could be more highlighted. Get the dvd if you love the band as I do, it is still worth it.

This DVD contains the Cinderella concert in Detroit from 1991. I have always thought Cinderella was a great live band and I wasn't disappointed. I have not realized any enhanced crowd noise as some other reviewers suggested but maybe I am not that sensitive. There is some cursing but not excessive if you plan to watch with a younger person.
