This made a hard task simpler. The only problem I had was that my watch band is on the thin side, and it was hard to line up the pin remover with the hole. After I got the idea, I was able to proceed with little issue. Cheaper than taking the watch to a jeweler, and I have the kit for future watch link issues.

I only give it 4/5 because it comes in a cheap box that will eventually fall apart, where a plastic case would have made this an easy 5/5. Pros: -Wide variety of tool parts, including parts for barrel lock watch links like Seiko. -Nice build quality for the price, pusher feels a little cheap, but for the price, it's great! Cons: -Packaged in Cardboard, so no case -Small pieces are very easy to lose in box. -Would've liked to have it come with a cloth or pad to hold the small pins and bits, but I thankfully already have a mod mat that does the job. -I have people asking me to resize their watches now (lol)

This is an excellent DIY sizing kit for home. I am not a handy person, but once I learned the theory of how sizing works, using this toolkit was a breeze even for me. So far, I have sized two watches using it, one cheap and one very expensive. All the tools worked great both times. The tools feel good in your hand and are aesthetically beautiful. The size is right, not too big, not too small. The packaging box conveniently doubles up as a storage case. Given the price range, I imagine this kit is not professional grade, but just the right value for an occasional watch enthusiast. Jorest has now earned my trust. If I ever feel courageous to venture into replacing batteries in my watches myself, I will know where to look for new tools.

This jeweler's watch repair kit was chosen from among so many similar collections of tools. I had one of the plastic watchband pin remover. Don't get the plastic ones. Those plastic ones are awful - avoid them. This kit is much better. The screw type watchband pin remover works well, especially compared with the old plastic one. Just be sure the pin is well-aligned and can pop out in the "slot" when you start turning the screw. This tool worked (on Mother's Day) to adjust a watch band on a new watch. It just worked every time and nothing broke like on the old plastic tool. Note: The box can be used to store the tools in their places, but it is thin paperboard with precut slots in foam. It works to store the tools for next time, but is not heavy material. Bottom line: This was a good "general purpose" watch repair kit with a good assortment of the tools I want and will use without giving me too many extra "tools" that I won't need or use. It does not have a two or three point watch back "unscrewer", but I don't need one. I don't need precision screwdrivers - I have accumulated plenty of them over the years. Look at what you really need, and buy the kit that has it. This kit was the right assortment of decent all metal tools for our needs.
