What arrived on my doorstep was not a singer branded product. Had an original SINGER handy press years ago and it was awesome. This one is not branded anywhere on the package, does not get hot enough to do anything, let alone iron on transfers. The cord is too big and barely fits into the iron, and is so heavy it pulls out or topples the iron.Only good thing about it was no steam. Waste of money. Do not recommend

The cord plugs in to the left side of this mini iron which is awkward for a right-handed person. This would definitely work better for left-handed people. The cord is very heavy-duty which is great for safety but I have to wrap it around my arm to keep it out of the way and stop it from pulling the iron over. When the iron is set down, it leans - sometimes toward the cord, but more often away from it. This is because the cord probably weighs more than the iron. A better design might be to have a "heat plate" that goes with it to set the iron business-side down. I do use it a lot in my sewing and it works well, although I would prefer it a bit hotter. Currently I count 7-8 seconds to press s small area - I would prefer about 3-4 seconds.

J'ai acheté ce fer pour ma fille, pour faire des billes chauffantes, mais il ne chauffe pas assez fort pour ce genre d'activité.Par contre, pour dépanner ou amener en voyage pour le linge il serait parfait
