Once you open this hanger, the bottom portion twists out (like an S hook) to face outward. When you put a bag on it, any slight movement of the bag (ie you gently brushed your leg against it), will cause it to rock and because of the S shape of this item, the hook will end up falling off the table. It doesn't take up much room, is light, yet sturdy. It twists open into an "S" shape and holds up to 10k (the package says). The hanger came wrapped inside a very nice box. I bought the green color (because that's the color of $$$$) in hopes that the color will stand out and remind me not to leave it behind. ### ⭐ design and construction is very good though. The black textured side is wide enough to fit almost all table tops (except bars) but only stays on for 30min at the most before sliding off.
