That being said, out of 4 lights I can only get one to stay lit for any length of time and it doesn't even last all night, even in the summer.

Only ended up using one from the two pack. It has been great for more than two years (purchased Feb 2019). I just wanted to share that the white will turn yellowish compared to vinyl fence posts. Still happy with it.

I purchased the white solar Hexagon Post cap lights w/ white leds for 4x4 hollow pvc/vinyl plastic posts. I was excited when I received the lights and installed the lights right away. The first night the light stayed on for a period of time beginning at dusk. I do not know if the lights worked the entire night. I have followed up and have found that the lights are not staying on and go out after an hour or so.The next night it rained a lot and that is when the lights went out so I went out and brought the light inside and it came back on. When I took it back outside I believe it stayed on for a short time before going back out. I contacted Amazon and the seller but I have not received help to try and resolve the issues with the light not staying on.I do like the style of the light and it does enhance the railing on my porch which is also white vinyl composite railing.The main reason for buying the lights is the style and also if I am not home at dusk the house would not be totally dark. I have used solar garden lighting before but to not remember having the problems that I have experience with these lights.

I bought these to put on my mailbox post at the end of my driveway. Given the fact they easily attach to the 4x4 post, these were a great choice, or so I thought. I charged both as stated in the directions. First one I put on came on at dusk as advertised. However, they claim up to 8 hours depending on some factors. Apparently these lights need to land on the sun directly before it receives enough solar light to even utilize itself more than 3 hours. I tried BOTH of these lights and they both fail to make it over 4 hours. What's interesting though is if I shut the power switch off, then turn it back on, the light is bright and fine, but won't last more than another hour. Either they are defective or this product is just plain junk.UPDATE: I returned this months ago and I have yet to receive a refund from this company. I'd suggest not buying from them as they don't honor their customers.

Great for looks and installation brightness lower than USA t but I only used 1 in lamp post looks good but still need other light turns on ok but does not last till morning even in warm weather also must spray a clear coat on white plastic parts to avoid possibility of yellowing. Cannot rain longevity of battery yet

These solar lamps are great to add to your deck, but its still not bright enough as a regular electrical light substitution.

I wanted solar LED lights that would truly light up my veranda stairs and these are great! Bright and attractive!

I used these on vinyl post at the end of my driveway I’m very pleased with this product they put out just the right amount of light and look beautiful at the end of my driveway
