I was very pleased that the product arrived quickly and was exactly what I had hoped it would be. It works as stated. I’ll use it more when I start riding motorcycle in spring and in any cool weather after that.

I guess for what it is, being 7v, it does an okay job. I got it to extend my motorcycle season. I've ridden in 35 degrees for hr+ and it basically takes unbearable to uncomfortable. At 7v, It is not a magic warmer that makes you nice and cozy. I turned it on high and barely felt it. But I would have been much more uncomfortable if I didn't have it. Not happy about how was advertised. It's definitely deceiving. The back element only covers the very top-middle of your back. Basically your lower neck. And i dont think the front covers as much as advertised either. Not 100% convinced if its worth it, especially at the price point paid ($165). I ride mtb, so I might just keep it and use it for that.

I bought a year ago (2022) on black friday sale from manufacturer. This shirt is expensive, but I love it. I wear on every weekend from mid Oct to mid March. I wear a T shirt under and sweat shirt over it. I wash about once per month. Still works fine. I have two batteries, but one will last most of the day on low. It works as base layer by itself(warmth). I do not like the cold(88 is start of shorts weather). I can wear the above and work in mid 40's (regular thermal bottoms) very comfortable. Usually alternative between low and med depending on activity level. What you will love is on warmer days if you are transitioning between different environments/activities(walking vs riding tractor) you can adjust heat. For example going from cool garage/work shop to cold outside, just turn heat on as you walk outside. I use for hiking, shopping, skiing, working in garage, hunting, etc.

It seems too good to be true but it does work. I bought 2 shirts about 2 weeks ago from The Warming Store(cheaper, $99) so I would have a back up just in case of a short circuit and an extra battery. I work in the Utica Oilfield servicing active well sites so I'm only using the heat for about an hour or so per stop and what a difference it makes. The last week or so it had been frigid at night -5°F with the wind chill and this certainly takes the edge off. It's not to be used by itself though, layering is a must. Recommend a light weight t-shirt underneath this shirt with another layer over top, plus additional layers covering for full effect to stop the wind. I only use the Green or Orange modes to make the battery last longer and one battery usually lasts all night (about 5 hrs). Using the Red mode is just too hot and they recommend 5 minutes only to prevent burns plus it drains the battery too fast. It gets really hot around the neck area too, so I use lower heat. It takes about 6-8 hrs to charge depending how drained the battery is. I will continue to keep using this product in the cold. I also like that it's machine washable. I will also be ordering extra batteries from Gerbing this week. I will test next week to see how water proof it is since we're getting a lot of rain. I have recommended this shirt to my co-workers and others on the fracs.

Update, DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP. you will get 12 months of use, tops. so, 2 winters later this crap glitches out constantly.called customer service for a replacement connector to replace where the battery connects, I HAD TO BEG FOR A CONNECTOR and 6 months later the controller that is sewn into the shirt blew After 2 winters of use.UGH !!! Even Gerbings is junk why an I NOT GET A QUALITY HEATED SHIRT !!!????buy it, you'll be glad. Don't buy a heated jacket, the heat is too far away from the body. get this base layer and layer up. Damn. Almost too hot on low. It's such a great insulator that you don't even need to turn it on unless you are in less than 25 degrees outside. Gerbings is the best, most reliable, and most long-lasting. Get extra batteries. Make sure to dry on low heat or the letters on the arm falls off in the dryer.

The product works, I use the base layer under my motorcycle jacket. I don't like the feel next to my skin so I use a t-shirt under it. That being said, I don't feel the heat much. Also, the arms are not hated and my arms get cold. The battery is charged using a proprietary charger not a USB port, so you have to carry the charger with you, (garbage).
