Bag for industry professionals
Absolutely the best bag for a traveling musician / DJ. I've owned a few backpacks and this is by far superior to the 5 or so that I have owned. You can pack this thing out to the point that nothing else fits, and it still doesn't feel like a lot of weight on your back. There's plenty of storage for large and small items. I carry a 15inch MacBook Pro (non retina) with a case on it, iPad 4 (with case), 4 records, needles, two LaCie hard drives, 20,000 mah battery back, technic headphones and a bunch of random adapters and small cables on a regular basis with some room to spare. This is a bag for someone who needs the room. It's large, so don't expect this to be a compact bag and take away stars because you "wish it was a little smaller" - there are plenty of bags out there that would be more suitable for the person heading to an office with their laptop and a few small accessories. As a professional in the audio industry for 10+ years, this is a no joke bag for the professionals that need a good amount of hardware and accessories with them at all times. Satisfied customer!

The perfect bag for any DJ
The perfect bag for any DJ. I purchase this bag about 16 months and have finally decided it to give a fair review. I carry my 15 in MacBook (17 fits) power cable, Novation Dicers in case, Crane Stand, 2 Chauvet led lights with 2 power cables, Sennheiser headphones in soft bag, furman power strip, 4 serato records, 1 set of butter rugs, business cards and random cables and adapters. The bag feels comfortable with all the weight and is very stylish. I have taken this bag to a plane and fits underneath any seat. I love this bag and highly recommend it to any Dj. The laptop portion of the bag comes and off and you can leave the rest at home or hotel and hit a buddies house without the need to carry everything with you. The only bag thing about this bag is the price and it will not fit any standard 12in mixer.

Most comfortable Turtle Shell EVER
Love it. Well made. I am a TM/FOH engineer & I can fit my 13" MacBook Pro, a 3-ring binder, cables, headphones, and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff in here and there's still a ton of room. When wearing it, the backpack is quite a bit deeper than a normal bag (meaning it sticks out behind you like a massive turtle shell), but other than that, I love the freakin thing. Best bag/thing I've ever had. I can also attest to the quality of other Mono products. Their other bags (for guitars, basses, etc) are exceedingly popular in the touring world and are some of the best cases I've seen. UPDATE: I've had this bag a little over a year now and I can still say it's holding up great. Almost as new looking as the day I bought it. I'd buy it again if I had to buy another backpack. I can actually easily fit 2 13" Macbook Pros in here, plus my headphones, a midi controller, a 3-ring binder, and all the power cords and cables you can imagine. Still love it.

Best DJ bag I ever had, by far.
An amazing amazing bag. the bag is actually two bags, one for your laptop and the other one all the rest. Being able to take just the laptop without everything else is worth the money alone. The big compartment holds a lot of stuff: Maschine MK1, Hercules DJ stand, in-ear headphones in a small pelican case, MBA charger, iPad Air + charger, USB cable (there's a built in cable organizer) plus other small accessories. I highly recommend it.

NO GOOd if ur a real DJ
I never write Bad reviews because I hate to be negative but I feel people need to know that this is my 2 back back I purchased. This last one I bought 3 mos ago and I'm buying a new and different one already. I am the guy who buys the most expensive product because it should be the best and in this case it is NOT. it may be ok for the fly by night DJs but for a guy who's works almost every day of the week it can't take the use! Zippers broke on both bags and the buckles plastic cracked rendering both of them un useable. I wasted a lot of money, it's annoying!

zippers will last you about exactly 2 years…
Don’t get me wrong… I absolutely love this pack. As a musician it’s the absolute best ever. What I don’t appreciate is the lack of support from mono ever since they started making everything in cheap ass China 🇨🇳 The zippers will fail, or the stitches on the zippers will fail. Every time. Be warned! It’s expensive! Probably too expensive for how many zippers have blown out.

Nice and different
Just got mine. Can't speak about durability. I'm a guitar hobbyist but I got this for biz travel. PROS - Nice looking bag - The detachable computer sleeve is nice and unique - The main storage compartment opens nice and wide so that it is easy to fill it. - It fits under an airplane seat - The side pockets can be accessed while wearing the bag. - The zippers stay in place and don't move - You can wear it on your shoulder or on your back - The bag is well balance don your back and doesn't tip over when it is on the floor. - The loop for studio headphones and/or cables. - Internal pocket for a tablet. CONS - It may not fit a large controller (not really a problem for me as don't need this) - Not a huge bag - I sometimes need to do the opposite which is to take the main bag and leave the computer sleeve at home/hotel. It will tilt over when you do this and you try to set it on the floor. I was just in a conference and I had to walk to another hotel and I don't like to walk with the dress shoes on concrete so I put on my cross trainers and placed the dress shoes inside the main compartment of the bag along with biz cards, pens, stylus and tablet. - (related to the previous comment) I wish it had a thin cover to fill the exposed middle area when taking the main bag and leaving the computer sleeve. Granted it wasn't designed for this. It may be possible to fit the shoes inside the computer sleeve if all you need is to take a tablet and small items that can fit in the outer pocket of the computer sleeve. Have not tried this but should work unless you have huge feet. - The single shoulder strap only works with the main bag compartment. The computer sleeve must go with the shoulder straps for your back.

The bag is expensive, but I believe there's a reason and that's the amount of sheer effort that's gone into the design, currently this bag has three laptops in it (in all fairness two are Macbook Air sized) and ALOT of extra and I've still got space to spare. With all this kit it's got some weight but when on my back (using both straps and the horizontal clip belt) it feels so balanced and easy to walk with. There's a pocket for everything, and it's well thought out design really helps me out. I don't use a controller but it will hold most small to small/medium size ones. The detchable case is also a great idea. Mono have created a one-off that's already and continues to be a bench-setter for DJ bags at this size range.

Worth the money, solid quality. I have traveled a few times with it and its very comfortable, I feel it distributes the weight well. I have been able to fit: M audio keystation 25key, Maschine Mikro, Akai MPC Live, Audio interface, cables & my XPS 13 Laptop all at once without an issue. The bag is a bit pricey but well worth it i see this bag lasting a few years and my audio gear is safe.
