Mate mini Haiwei
It the exact mini pad I wanted to read comics put books/magazines on and trying new sites, every thing is the best with the pad, colour size resolution and I way perfur haiwei with smart devices. But the one magiour problem was I found no memory so every after download less then two apps. So I put in a larger memory card but I a hard time trying to save full applications on to it instead of putting them straight on the device witch will not download as memory isn't amazing

Life without Google Play
I have had either a Huawei or Honor phone for a few years and have been fairly happy with them, but am unsure whether to stick with the brand without Google Play. I resent being told what to do by another country's leader so would prefer to stick with my chosen brand. This inexpensive tablet gave me a chance to live without Google Play on a tablet as an experiment. I use much fewer apps on a tablet so it's much easier. The truth is it's not that big a deal. Apart from Google's own apps, you can get most things from either the gallery or one of the apk mirrors. If you can't live without Gmail or Google Maps then you need to ask yourself why you can't live with an alternative. I am using different email apps and browsers to what I am used to, but I'll soon adjust and it's good to try something outside of my comfort zone.Other apps you normally use Google to log in may be a problem, it was for me except with browsers. I think it's better to use an email/password login rather than google/facebook etc as it doesn't tie you to another platform or company. I've had to re-register with my email in at least one case. Going forward I will always use email/password logins for sure. The tablet itself is very quick and seems to be great value. Reading my daily newspaper on its own app is far quicker than on my Android phone or in Windows (app or browser). Browsing and email are really quick too. If I want to do anything more I have the phone in my pocket where I have around 100 apps installed.I'd rather Google Play was there but I can live without it and do nearly everything I want to.

Please don't buy if you expect Play Store and Google
Having previously purchased a Huawei tablet that had Google on I assumed that this would too. Sadly it does not and from what I've read the Matepad T8 is not compatible with the download. I will now be buying a different tablet for the same price from a retail store so that I don't have to pay to return this as I have had to when buying this one from Amazon which was returned the same day it was purchased so overall not very happy with this purchase at all.
