I have it on a hardwood floor, so I did need to get some nice sticky squares to keep it in place. I bet it would stay in place if used on carpet tho. Vacuum and hand vac both clean it nicely. It's made well, no odd scents and no fraying or loose threads. Next time I need a rug I'll be checking this seller. It vacuums easily, not getting sucked up by canister vac. Overall it looks sturdy and well made. Today is day 1.
