The clay are all soft and my kid loves using them.

Good clay I guess. I bought this clay to make rings for my Etsy shop, when I opened it i was a little disappointed. I opened one of the clays and it was weirdly greasy and hard. After a while I got a bit used to it. It also was a lot smaller amount than I thought. It came with a lot of useful tools and also a mind to make different shapes. When I baked the rings at the temperature and time i was supposed to, after they cooled down when I picked one up the clay just broke. This has happened a lot but I find it’s best to roll the clay out a bit thick and cook it at about 170 degrees for 40-60 minutes. I did however like this clay, just be aware when you first get it. It’s greasy at first, but when you knead it for a few minutes or even use a pasta maker it is fine. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but I feel it deserves 4.

I purchased this clay set as a starter set to help me learn hoy to make polymer clay jewelry. From the very first packet of clay I tried I was disappointed with all aspects of this purchase. While other reviewer of this item encountered a shattered carrying case, the one I received was fine. That's about the only good thing I can say.This clay was poorly packaged. It arrived with many of the colors partially open and the clay exposed. Worse those that were open appear the have been dropped on a filthy floor. There was fine debris on the open white clay so bad that I just threw it away. I purchased a new white clay at my local craft store.The clay is very wet on the outside before conditioning. My hands were soaked in odorless oil whenever I tried to condition it or use it. Once the clay is warm after conditioning it's light working with salt water taffy.The color of the clay does come off on my hands during conditioning of the clay. Another unhappy experience.Forget about making any canes with this stuff. Simply waaay too soft and it's also not any better when I bake even simple pieces.All along I thought the problem was me and that I simply didn't have good techniques yet because as I said earlier I purchased this clay set to learn how to make clay jewelry.As soon as I started to use that replacement white color clay I found out it's wasn't my techniques it's simply this clay is a poor choice.To boot, let me .also warn any potential buyers that the color variety is NO WHERE NEAR .what the pictures show. Yes there's a variety but the colors are not the vibrant ones shown in the pictures by a long shot.Bottom line if you don't mind your kids hands covered in color it's seems good for kids. But if you want a selection of colors for making clay jewelry I recommend not to choose this set.

This clay was really soft and easy to mold so it’s perfect for using with kids. If you’re an experienced artist, this may not be the best quality for you. Because of how soft the clay is it would struggle staying firm for small detailed 3D shapes so I would suggest a higher quality clay if you plan on some very intricate details. However, using it to make flat earrings was no problem! They turned out super cute and were so fun to make.

My kids (9 and 13) played with this for HOURS the first day it arrived! They were happy to makes thing that they were able to keep/use (keychains, etc) and everything turned out super cute. Enough product for many projects and so many colors! Soft enough for young hands, but firm enough for detail work. Highly recommend.
