These are nice to have for the pool! They are smaller than expected but worked out great.

I guess I should have given more attention to the measurements in the description. I was expecting things to be a little bigger, primarily the torpedos, but it's not bad.The gems and thin plastic pieces are the worst pieces of the set. The gems are cheap, glass-like plastic that scratch easily on the poolside concrete and the kids don't really like them because they're very light and drift around under the water. The plastic pieces (pirate ship and seahorse) are paper thin, but rigid and I can't imagine they'll last long. Would be better if made flexible and with a weight like the discs. The little plastic coins are slightly thicker.The discs are about as thin as the pirate ship, but a softer, more pliable plastic with an added weight. They're good for throwing like a frisbee, but don't always sink right away if the weight isn't fully submerged. These are one of the more enjoyable pieces in the set, my only concern is that they have enough weight and are thin enough that they could potentially hurt or even cut someone if/when they go off course when thrown.The floaty foam fish have a rubber exterior but a soft, spongy foam interior that will probably start growing mildew before long. They float on the surface, so not as much fun as the pieces that sink.The fish rings are lighter than expected and feel pretty cheap, but they work fine. The white weight pulls them to the bottom while the top of the fish floats to keep them upright under water.The squid are hollow and slow to sink. They don't always stand on the bottom, but they're still fun.The seaweed are fun, with a good weight for throwing and the trailing cloth seaweed strands that drift in the water. The base is hollow and filled with little pellet weights. My only concern is, again, these may eventually start growing mildew, but they are made of a decently sturdy, quick-drying fabric. One of our favorite pieces.The torpedos, as started, are smaller than expected, but well weighted and plenty of fun. They are a little pointy at the ends, but no one has been hurt by them yet exempt for my son scratching me with them the other day.The favorites are definitely the torpedos and the seaweed. The kids have a blast with the set in the pool, so I'm not disappointed for the value.There's also a mesh bag for storing everything which is good for hanging them out to dry.Amazon review form asks about "inflating" but there is nothing in this set to inflate.

These pool toys are great for teaching little kids to dive and hold their breath. My 3 year old grandson can’t get enough pool time with them. I love them too! So fun for the entire family.Some of the rings have little weights that come off easily and are difficult to put back on. Otherwise, a great product.

Overall these are great. So far only tried out the bigger toys not the small coins and gems. The puffer fish do not sink at all. The others vary in how fast they sink but do not really correlate to the weights listed. The 'seaweed' would have been better if made of plastic as the fabric stays wet and might mold and not last as long, but for the price, it's not a big deal.

Seems like a nice selection of toys that are of decent quality. The reason I deducted one star is because the box the toys came in was damaged and since this is a gift, that is a problem. The recipient hasn't received them yet, so I can't report on what a twelve year old thinks about them :)

This is a great set of pool toys. Honestly, i questioned it because the cost for the product was so cheap. When i go to target, i can get 3 of these pool rings for $10+, so it’s a great value overall.I have 4 boys and was able to divide all of these up into Easter baskets to give them along with a little 10’ pool for the summer. My 1 yr old is a biter and i don’t think he’ll be able to break any of these, either. 2 thumbs up from me.
