This is the 2nd Shower Head Holder by Gaoyu that I have purchased. I purchased the first one back in March and wanted to see if it would stay attached to the bathroom shower wall before I wrote a review and it DOES!!! We have a very heavy handheld shower sprayer and my concern was that since this is adjustable that the weight of it would make it fall forward or simply come off of the wall, since this is held in place by a suction mechanism...needless to say this has worked AMAZING and has NEVER Come off the bathroom wall!!!! So much so that I have purchased the same item twice now for our other bathrooms. I initially bought this as I am an entire foot shorter then my husband and having the sprayer up to his height made it a challenge for me to rinse my hair out or shower comfortably. This is a great product, great design and I totally recommend it. PS- I personally bought these with my own money, I was not paid for my reviews, I am an avid review reader, and thought I should write a review to help others looking for something like this. I bought this shower head holder so the shower head could be mounted at the right height for my 4 year old to take a shower. I got it with the suction cup so I could move it as she grows. Unfortunately, despite following the (somewhat meagre) instructions and cleaning the shower wall ahead of time with alcohol, etc., it fell the next morning. Also, when it was up, it didn't fit my shower head sprayer very well because the cord was a bit too thick. It wouldn't be bothersome if you just left it in the holder all the time, but taking it in and out of the holder is very irritating. The sprayer hose isn't thicker than usual either; it seems pretty standard, so I don't know why they'd make it too small. Either way, the whole thing was a failure.

I have now bought two of these. The suction cup version has worked flawlessly for me in both instances. The first I put up in my kids shower several months ago so they can reach the shower head. I applied it with the suction cup as instructed, and it has stayed put with no problems through repeatedly taking the shower head in and out of the holder. The hose for the shower head is a tight fit, but it does slide in with minimal effort, and the holder keeps the shower head in place well. The second I recently put in my mother-in-laws shower so she didn't have to reach as high for her shower head. She has loved it so far, and said she has no problems taking it in and out of the holder. Her shower head hose is a little smaller than my kids, so it goes in and out of the holder with ease, and stays put well when in the holder. In all I have been extremely satisfied with this shower head holder.

This shower head holder was a little bit of a disappointment. I have used a suction holder on my tile for 2 years. The reason I wanted a different one was because the old one had stretched out and wouldn't hold the shower head securely. Well, when I saw this one, with ultra suction, I was so happy!! I knew it would hold, and it didn't look as if it would stretch out. When it arrived, I happily went to the shower to attach it. No matter how many times I tried, in many ways, I could NOT get it to hold by the suction cup. I finally gave up and used the adhesive to attach it. I like the holder, but I hate that I had to use the adhesive on my beautiful tiles. I just hope it holds forever so I won't have to scrape that adhesive off.

It was ok. The holder's handle barely wide enough to fit the hose through so it doesnt even hold the handle of my shower head properly. It was a standard hose but now the shower head had to lead against the wall otherwise it will fall right on me. It does the job for me so it's alright.I wish I can adjust the width of the holder so it can get a better grip of the shower head.

Same comment as many have already left--don't expect the suction cup on this to work unless your surface is as smooth as glass. The design is not well explained in the product description. There's a 2" suction cup on the back which is pulled back to increase suction by turning the big round knob above the shower head bracket. It's very solidly constructed and the knob design is better than just a press fit but, again, the surface must be as smooth as a telescope mirror.

I have been looking for a solution, other than a "standard" suction cup device, for our kiddo's shower. I happened to stumble across this item the other day and decided to give it a try.I have to say it is FANTASTIC!!! The way the device works is great. Simply turn the knob to increase the suction / holding power. Turns really smooth with very little effort. No more pushing hard and wondering how long it's going to hold. Now our kiddo can reach the shower wand with ease. Thank you Gaoyu!UPDATE 4/22/17:First time I placed the holder I heard a thump about 15min later; it had lost suction and fallen off. Bit frustrated but decided to try again this time lightly wetting the suction panel with some water on my finger (very light amt). Worked fantastic! Wand has not fallen off since. 5 star review still stands. TIP: lightly wet the suction panel/cup.

I've only had this for a week, but so far it's great. I, too have an incredibly small shower. I have mounted the handle high towards the ceiling, and that allows me to basically aim it straight down. I bought it to use with my other new purchase "AOKII® Luxury Handheld Shower Head with Hose and Convenient Push-Control Flow Control Button." The only problem with the AOKII is that you need to drill holes to secure bracket, and that's a deal breaker for me. Instead of returning it, I bought this Gaoyu holder, and problem solved. make sure to save the little rubber tube to go around the base of the handle. I can turn the handle 90+ degrees if I don't want to get sprayed while soaping up, eThese items are brand new, so I can't speak on durability, but I expect the will last a long time.
