Great paint for my needs
I am a local food vendor for several events at a local venue. We don't always have the same theme so I do tend to change my menus and also add specials etc. My boards are two pieces of slick paneling I've painted with this type paint. The first coats were brushed on from this paint out of a quart. Now I use this spray to do a change. I've used it easily over regular chalk wiped off and then chalk paint markers and it covers both easily. It dries within minutes so much faster than the brush on. Typically after every event I give it a good spraying to just freshen up the look and it's back good as new.....If you need to write on something with chalk and definitely if you need to makes changes this is the way to do. It covers great and stays on well....never had any issues.

Great Black Matte Paint
I love this paint. I use it a lot when painting furniture. It is great if you want a matte look and is cheaper than the chalk spray paints. I use the Rust-Oleum attachment for spray nozzles that does the continuous spray. And it just always looks great.

Works great
I used this to refresh a cheap old worn out blackboard. I was unable to find another one or anything similar to it. So I tried this spray.A few coats and it was good as new. There's still plenty left in the can for many more refreshers.

Does its job, (but does leaves a mess behind).
First off, let me just say that I've never really used spray paint before. I probably should have prepared my area better, because this left a huge mess on my floors and walls. I didn’t realize that spray would cover such a large area, so I messed my wall up and now have to repaint it. Additionally, when I spray painted the sides of my upper (wooden) cabinets, but when I had finished there was residue all over my floors and counters. I had to mop the floors four times before it was all up. I would absolutely suggest placing something down on the floors before you start any project. I would also suggest a mask while using this product, or you’ll have black soot up your nose.Overall, the product is actually decent. It's easy to use; just point and spray. It does not drip, which is a plus, and dries within 20 minutes. I turned my cabinets into chalkboards so I could hang measuring cups, which I then labeled for easy access. There was plenty left in the can to do two coats on two cabinets; I barely used any for that project. I’ve also done a coffee table for my daughter (and a few other little items) and still haven’t used half the can. This can be used on virtually anything. My son and I played around with it and painted a bunch of different items just for fun. We used it on cardboard, plastic, glass, and wood. I would not recommend using this on anything you would hold a lot, like drinkware, because it did leave residue all over my hands. My finished products were very chalkboard-esque. I used normal chalk for my cabinets first, which worked well but the chalk was too big to write properly with. I then used a fine point chalk-marker, which turned out much better.

Love it!
Easy to spray but definitely stains hands just as easily. So use gloves and have a clean work space. I used it for the footboard of by daughter's wooden bed. I cleaned it with a simple wipe, sanded it lightly with sandpaper, then sprayed a coat and let it dry for twenty minutes. I was so impatient I used chalk and wrote on it right then. Big mistake, when I erased it, the paint came off. So I learned to follow instructions and let it dry. Needless to say I had to redo the whole surface. I sprayed the first coat and let it dry for twenty minutes, then I sprayed the second coat (third if you count my initial mistake) and let it dry for a full 24 hours. After that it was good to go. My kids have loved it ever since. The only thing is that weeks after it's been applied. The chalk that is used on it stays on. So I'm guessing I have to clean it every day to keep the black board clean otherwise it just looks messy, even when I wipe it with water. I might just paint it again, because after I painted it the first three times, I still had a lot of spray left over. It was used to cover the foot board of a twin-sized bed. Overall, it's a great buy, quick shipping and wonderful price...a little over $3 dollars if I remember. It was even cheaper on amazon than Walmart, Walmart had it for about $3.97
