This pole is super well made, very sturdy in high winds. I was surprised at how easy it was to install on our wooden deck support. I hung 2 large hummingbird feeders on it with no issues. It has a tightening knob on it that makes it super easy to turn the pole towards the deck to refill the feeders, then turn it back out away from the deck and know that it will not move. No more poop on the deck! Bonus - it is made in the USA.

Great sturdy product. Only concern was with how it is to be attached to a stationary pole. We fabricated two blocks, half of which fits to contour of the stationary pipe; the other to receive the bolts from the Swingarm. It works really well. Without the fabricated blocks, the arm would not be as securely mounted to the stationary pole.

This Double Hook Swinging Bird Feeder Pole was easy to assemble, and although getting it installed wasn't as easy as I would have liked, it is sturdy and it works great. I'm very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a longer deck pole to reduce the mess and discourage chipmunks, squirrels and turkeys (yes -- turkeys) from being able to reach the feeder from the railing.

The paint job on this is horrible. My six year could have done a better job with a can of spray paint. I have not faith this will last more than a year or two before the paint comes peeling off and it begins to rust. Also, you could save yourself $20 and buy all the parts/paint at your favorite hardware store as there is nothing unique or special about this product. Time for someone to build a better mouse trap.

The pole itself seems good quality, and the packaging as well as instructions were useful. However the mounting hardware seems a bit flimsy. In particular, I managed to bend (!) one of the mounting screws while installing this. I ended up using instead two deck screws for the main mounts, which seem plenty sturdy. I would suggest they ship these with more quality mounting hardware / wood screws.

We initially just bought one of these, but as soon as we put it up our voracious hummingbirds loved it so much we immediately ordered three more. They are easy and quick to install, are solidly built, have a beautiful finish (we got the Hunter Green) and swing back and forth effortlessly. I had questions and called the manufacturer directly and received excellent, PERSONAL service (no voice-prompt menu!). What a great company and product. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The two mounting clamps (conduit clamps) that come with the bracket are flimsy and essentially useless. As soon as something is hung from the arm, the clamps bend and twist out-of-shape to the point that the arm is pulling off of the post. Other hanging brackets that come with a long, one piece clamp, are much stronger and able to support the weight.

What else is there to say. I hang one or two heavy feeders. The pole is secured onto the side of a window. It was easy to install, and helpful videos show how. How to enjoy the birds upstairs. The arm swings in for easy filling.
