This is the best hose attachment set! I already had a thin hose attachment that connects to my dryer tool but it doesn’t have the metal guide wire so it’s very hard to reach an important part in my dryer. I bought this one essentially for the guide wire. It helps a lot! This also comes with a wider attachment that is very effective at getting lint from the dryer. Even though I wasn’t expecting to like that part so much, it has become my preferred one.

It did what it said. Easy to assemble, and it worked with my Shart vacuum. It did clean the areas, but not the "clog" which it could not get to. I have to remove my dryer for that. This is not the cure all for anything, but for the more simpler blockages, which are just as important to clean out. It does NOT replace the inspection of the maoin vents, or once in a while opening up the dryer to check for hidden recesses, which I did find. I would stgill buy one.

I bought this so my wife and kids can participate in dryer maintenance while I watch some football, :) Fail We have a 2017 LG front load dryer where I would use a long screw driver to loosen the lint, a shop vac to suck out the loose lint and a Dewalt 20V leaf blower to assist in pushing out lint too far down. Then repeat until clean. Hoping this would cut down on the time it takes to clean, but it did not save any time. The tube with the wire was useless on my LG dryer as it would not fit down the guts of the LG lint exhaust or whatever they call it. The wire on it was too stiff as well. So I used this attachment to help break up the caked in lint The oval attachment was able to get further down in to the bowels of the LG but not much came out in too the vacuum. Needless to stay I still needed the screw driver to loosen the lint so the oval attachment could suck it up. The attachment to the vacuum work well which is why I gave it three stars. It attached to our Dyson Animal which has a large port and there was no loss of suction. Before buying check your liny trap to see if it can accommodate these attachments. Decided to keep it to use under the range and behind heavy objects due to the flexibility. It saves in these places because I don't have to pull out the shop vac. Bottom line, don't expect to save any time in cleaning the lint out. Note we clean ours every 3 to 4 months and use the dryer daily. Maybe this would work better it we cleaned it every month? Very happy with this. Does not go deep into my dryer like the picture shows, my dryer seem to narrow towards the front as you go further down. It went down far enough to get a large blockage out of the way. Seems to dry a little better, helps with worry about fire. It just makes me wonder about going deeper into the dryer but will need something different with mine. It did clean well with my Miele vacuum.

Used it tonight. It does slide on the vacuum hose easily. I have a dryer with the lint trap in the front & there is always lots of lint sifting to an out of reach place. The 2nd time I used it (in a month’s time) I pulled the crinkly hose off & got it all cleaned out. Was able to clean a good part of my vent. I live in a rent house & my dryer vent goes into the wall, elbows into another pipe that leads up to the ROOF of my HOUSE! Yes, you read that correctly! Sometimes kids get on the roof and run across because they are not A shaped but completely flat roofs. The kids get knocked open and leaves/grass/rain comes back in the pipe & clogs up easily. The pics show just one use of cleaning my dryer. Makes me feel safer knowing I am eliminating the threat of a fire with just an easy cleaning chore that takes about 30 minutes. I did use it under some furniture & it did pull out some interesting cat toys & hair scrunchies.

Either I have a clean dryer because I clean out the lint once a month, or the hose did't work and suck up the lint. No lint came out with these attactments
