    Don't waste your money on this pump

I bought this pump to replace the pump that went out on my dog's water fountain.  When I opened the box, I noticed some rattling.  I pulled the pump out of the box and it fell apart into several pieces.  I tried to put it back together, to no avail.  Don't waste your money on this pump.

I'm using this pump to pump water through a garden hose up to the sewer outlet in my house (basement, outlet not in the floor).  It is pumping water 38" high and 8 feet away at the full flow setting.  Not a full strength stream, but certainly enough to do the job.  The water pick-up is an inch or so high so won't drain my container completely.  But it works fine, and is inexpensive and quiet.
