The qualities are better than the cheap stuff you would get picked up at big retail stores or some convenient store like that. You're not going to get great bass out of these. Bass is pretty good for these type of earphones. If you looking for something with more bass, then I would recommend over the ear headphones. I found the GX-33 to be more comfortable than the GX-30. Even after changing the silicones ends and having the proper size for my ears, these did not feel well in my ears. I use these for a backup in case my main headset dies. I recommend you buy these over the overpriced cheap stuff at most retail stores. I also recommend you get the GX-33 over these. You're never certain of the quality and performance of the item. You have to reply on the honesty of the company and/or seller. I am pleased to say that there was absolute honesty in this product. These headphones came and performed exactly as they were describe. They are very attractive in their design. The bright color makes it very appealing to the eye. The materials used are very durable. They come enclosed in a thick zipper pouch which is perfect for storage. This set comes with additional rubber ear pcs and a clip to secure the cord to your shirt etc. The pouch has a storage pocket inside to hold the extra ear pieces. to store additional small items. These headphones give you the ability to pause/play/skip while watching a video or listening to music, accept/end phones calls if used with your mobile phone from the push of a button. You can also adjust the volume from the same control panel by sliding the little bar. I have two old sets of vmoda bass earphones that were also cheap, are smaller, and sound way better.They do a reasonable job of isolating noise, but then the cord makes noise through the earphones especially when walking.Flat anti-tangle cord is nice.Unlike other 1-2 star reviews, mine have held up.
