I got tired of cutting open, resealing and wasting bags for item that I use on a regular basis. So I decided to buy this hand held sealer attachment and some food saver resealable zip loc bags in hopes that it will work my "vintage" food saver. The hose adapters that fit my food saver are grey. The hand sealer comes with the green adapter. The green plug in adapter didn't fit tight in my machine and leaked. I had and extra grey adapter so I removed the green end off the hand sealer ( had to cut the hose to get it off) and attached the hose end to my grey adapter.The hand sealer now works great with my food saver. It sucks the Food saver zip lock bags down really tight. I can reopen them to take out what I want and reseal them. I no longer have to cut, reseal and waste bags.I am really happy with the hand sealer attachment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works like Original *by S***Y on August 12, 2024* I've used the food saver brand for many years. After a while the sealing was slower on resealable bags. Many years of moisture and sealing were taking its toll. I used this replacement and now it is sealing like a brand new machine.
