Robocop rules!
Great art and story. Wish all of Miller's Robocop was collected somewhere.

Ordered a new. Book looks used with a big sticker on the back cover.
Not happy with the condition book arrived in since it was supposed to be a new purchase. Story is good though.

Nice
Arrived quickly and in good condition. Comic itself is great. Much better than the movie that the screen play was turned into.

The Robocop series finale that should have been...
Really great read, except issue 8 feels like sort of a weird and unnecessary double-ending to the series. It boggled my mind how the lamest ideas of the Robocop 3 film were actually borne out of this script, but Frank Miller's writing, pacing, and quirky grimdark sci-fi aesthetic successfully pulls off basically every idea that was terribly depicted in the film, such as the outlaw Robocop, the Otomo ninjas, even the hand cannon and jetpack makes not only way more sense in this comic, these elements get woven into this story a lot more smoothly than they came across on screen. If there's one weakness to this series, its the art, it looks amateurish in some panels, as if drawn by a middle-schooler. Frank Miller's story pacing more than makes up for it. I'd recommend playing the Robocop original soundtrack while reading this, this story really is the finale that the Robocop series deserved.

Don't let the title of the collection confuse you--this IS indeed the first collection of RoboCop: Last Stand (issues 1-4).
As a massive RoboCop fan, this is pretty awesome. The Last Stand is an exact adaption of Frank Miller’s screenplay for Robocop 3--nothing altered or left out. Sure, seeing it put to film would have been great but honestly, this is cooler. Any film is a compromise between what is intended and what is attainable. This is the ideal. A dream put to print. No compromises, just the perfect final chapter to a character who defined an era.Korkut's artwork immerses you. It feels like a lost record of the film that never was--drawing from a 2000AD 80s aesthetic--he perfectly delivers the tone and look of the classic, while drawing influence from the artwork of Miller himself.Unlike his original script for RoboCop 2, which seemed to be an exploration of how to write a screenplay with endless action, this feels like Frank Miller in his prime. There is a Dark Knight Returns vibe throughout, an epic quality that Robocop has always hinted at but never fully attained. Until now. Fans should take note because this is something special. I cannot wait for the final volume.
