This expansion includes additional cards creating news options during the draft and throughout the game. The cards add some extra elements to the game making decision making more strategic. These add some powerful bonuses during production, but at a cost. I purchased this expansion at the same time I purchased the base game. It doesn’t change the way the game plays. The only difference is the way you setup. I added it in during my first game and will always play with it. It adds more variety and strategy to card drafting, selection, and play without changing the base game. I recommend it.

My household has played the base game about 40 times over the last year and we had started to cool on it. This expansion has been perfect! We are having to think through new strategies and the challenge has been great. This expansion is only good if you already love the base game. If you just like the base game or think it is ok then this expansion will not change that.

This expansion adds many new dimensions to the original deck. I always play with this added even when teaching newbies. Worth the money.

Highly recommend this expansion if you enjoy the base game. Adds new scoring and production abilities, allowing for more combos.

This adds great variability to the base game and breathes new life into an already great game. My only issue is the price point. A small deck of cards and a piece of cardboard shouldn’t be price at $30-$40. It should be $15-$20.
