Nature′s Recipe Chicken, Barley & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food, 24 lb. Bag

I have two senior dogs. My oldest pup can be picky about his food. This is one food that he eats consistently and without issue. My dogs haven't had any stomach issues with this food either.

My doggo likes this food. No allergy problems or anything - goes in whole, comes out the other end processed... we buy more. Repeat cycle

Great quality, dogs love it, price is affordable compared with others that offer same benefits, definitely a monthly investment for our puppies.

My dog Ramses really likes the Nature's Recipe dog food, and I did too - fairly good ingredients and not a thousand of them, a good price point, and a happy, healthy fur baby. However, the last two bags I've purchased have been excessively mealy - mountains of meal - that are not only messy but inedible as my dog doesn't like his food in granular form, and I can't blame him, and has lowered the value of the food by raising the price per edible pound considerably. It's been disappointing and frustrating. He ate Wag prior to this but when Amazon raised the price on their store brand to higher than name brands, I could no longer afford it nor wanted to - this was my substitute.

My dogs are not real picky so I guess it’s fine

I try not to switch dog foods if I can avoid it. Pet owners know that switching foods is not only costly but it needs to be done over the course of many, many days to avoid making your pet sick. Not a fun experience for the Pet or Pet Parent. What do you do when your pet refuses to eat though?My Husband and I went through years of this with our German Shepherd. He would eat a food for several months and then one day he would just refuse. I could tell he didn't really love any of the things we were feeding him because he was never very excited about meal times. Just for clarification, I've had two previous GSDs and never had this kind of a problem before.In the beginning we went to several different Vets and spent thousands of dollars on tests just to be sure there wasn't some underlying cause for why my dog was refusing to eat but we were never able to find a reason or a solution. After that we began switching foods and he'd eat the new food for a while and then seem to get tired of it and just stop. At one point, I was ordering $90.00 bags of dog food out of Canada and thank goodness we weren't also paying for shipping.I finally stumbled upon Nature′s Recipe several years back and this has been the first and only dog food that my dog gets excited about meal times for. I very nearly could have cried with relief. Not only that, but my dog has never turned up his snout at it either. I am NOT exaggerating when I say that my husband and I searched for years..There are definitely cheaper dog foods out there and believe me there are much more expensive ones too. I trust the quality of this product .. and I trust my dog's instincts. Unless some kind of crazy change happens, we're Nature′s Recipe supporters for life! ~Spooky

My dogs love it

I’ve been buying this brand and flavor dog food for a while now. My most recent bag was a lot of crumbs. It’s not unusual to have crumbs when the bag is almost gone but this bag was crumbs from beginning to end. Not happy
