Best Performance Mod for M365
Here are the key points in my review of this suspension kit:• Very significant ride improvement and definitely a must have for m365. However, you will still feel vibration from the rear wheel when riding over rough terrain, but it is definitely manageable/minimal.• The suspension will help prevent the loosening of the folding assembly, as the handlebar will no longer violently shake when riding over rough terrain.• The 10” wheel mod is no longer a required suspension mod, which is great as the larger wheels affect the scooter battery range and acceleration.• All tools and parts are included for existing front wheel fork disassembly and kit installation. When removing the front tire, a nut on each side needs to be removed which can be difficult as mentioned in previous reviews. Use a long bar/pipe and secure it to the end of the 16mm side of the crescent wrench that came with the kit. This will give you leverage when removing these nuts with much less force, so you can insure the wrench is secure during removal and will not strip the nuts. Duct tape a broom stick to the wrench if you have to. With the scooter wheels on the ground, position the wrench on the nut so you are pushing towards the ground (not upwards). Be patient and remember that you do not need to use 100% of your strength for this kit installation.• Grease inside walls of spring piston assembly if spring is squeaking during riding.• M6 socket head screw that mounts down the center of the folding assembly should be 30mm long (included in kit). I received a 35mm long screw (seems like I’m the only one). Can easily find one at any hardware store or cut it to the correct length.• Construction of the kit is of decent quality with 16 flanged ball bearings at the critical pivot points of this five bar linkage design. There is a cheaper clone version of this kit with no bearings and weaker construction. Compare the thickness of the four linkage bars and side plates of the Monorim kit to the cheaper version for an adequate assessment.• The kit provides two springs that will be used based on rider's weight. The yellow is the lighter spring (50-100kg) and the blue is a bit stiffer (70-120kg). You can find a replacement for the spring piston assembly, such as an air shock (150mm), but they can get pricey and cost almost as much as the suspension kit. You would also need a shock pump to adjust the air shock. An air shock is the ideal setup, but it is not required as the supplied springs perform very well.• After installation, the front fender might bump into the spring piston during riding. If this occurs, place a piece of adhesive backed felt at this position or add another washer to lower the front fender.

20 minuti persi
Reso effettuato dopo 20 minuti.

It doesn't assemble like a toy, because it's not one!
I'm only writing this review to address the main gripe people seem to have, which is the difficulty of installation. FIRST: ignore the older reviews complaining about the weak instructional video on youtube. User Nash Online now has a beautiful instructional video seemingly sponsored by the manufacturer. It's a half hour long, well paced, and leaves absolutely zero questions.SECOND: reguarding the difficulty of the actual assembly. This is exactly as physically strenuous as it should be. You're installing a well-engineered aftermarket suspension kit on a commuter vehicle that you're trusting with your life. You absolutely need to have a serious set of large locking pliers, a 18mm ratcheting socket wrench, a rubber mallet, and some oil. Otherwise you're asking for stripped bolts, busted knuckles, and dangerous loose parts. If you don't already have those tools, then that might be a red flag that the project itself is a little over your experience level and THAT'S OK :) ! Call your handy friend with the toolbag over, buy them a calzone, pull up the Nash video for them and you'll have a safe, solid suspension kit installed in 45 minutes, easy.
