Pros: Only 1 con, otherwise the kit works as advertised for the price, decent box with hinges (not just a flex plastic crap) and the top side is foamed so no rattles when the set is being transported. Good combo with a cordless impact for a roadside kit.Cons: The universal joint has fine print on it that says not for use with impact... um people buying this are going to do that so this part should be changed out or dropped from the kit. I rarely use universals anyways.

I bought this set and I was expecting it to be decent. I work on my car is a lot recently got an impact and I needed impact sockets. The sockets themselves and not too bad. The case is a cheap plastic that looks like it wants to fall apart, but the worst part is that it did not come with a 19mm! There was a socket in there that said 19mm on it but it also had 17mm stamped onto it. Although the socket said in writing it was a 19mm it was actually a 17mm!!! That is the stupidest thing I've ever seen!!! How do you mess that up!? I had to buy my own 19mm socket! That's is ridiculous!!! Buyer beware!!!

Good:I used the Sockets and Extensions to rebuild the front suspension and brakes on my AWD sedan (ball joins, CV axle, control arms, compression rods, pads, rotors, etc.)The sockets and extensions worked well under the max 600 ft lbs breakaway torque i was applying with my impact.Bad:The universal joint swivel broke on the first use applying low torque - 250ft lbs.The sockets are cheap and did the job but I'll be looking for a higher quality universal joint swivel set.

Broke the joint socket the second time that I used it. I was changing out the struts in my car, and needed the joint socket to get at one of my rear sway bar end-links. It was only using a 14 mm socket and before I knew it, one of the pins fell out and the socket fell apart on me. I purchased this set because it seemed like a better value than the Tekton deep socket set, and overall you still end up getting more with the extra extension pieces. I will have to purchase a higher quality joint socket now it seems however. Despite this, I'm still happy with my purchase.

Multiple pieces broke and/or fell apart after the first use. Not strong, not quality. Spend a few extra bucks and get something from a reputable company. Will be seeking a refund for this item.
