This is a very thin liquid and semi transparent. Used a diamond cup grinder to etch and smooth floor. First coat applied with a sponge with very blotchy results so decided to roll the second coat and that turned out much better and uniform but still a bit transparent. Once absorbed fully into concrete about 2 hrs I top coated with Satin Acrylic clear sealer. Turned out very good.

Used it to stain poured concrete wall to look like bricks. Some of the colors were more watery and hard to keep from running down the wall. Overall, turned out very nice.

BUYER BEWARE.I wanted an acid stain for a new concrete patio project, and while searching Amazon this product came up. No where did I read that it was not acid, so I purchased it expecting the same 1 or 2 coat coverage I would get from acid staining. Unfortunately, as I combed the website looking for printable application directions (not time-consuming videos) I finally stumbled upon the 'not acid stain' statement. I needed to order another gallon, and it was then that I saw it on the Amazon seller description (are there multiple entries on Amazon with different descriptions??)Needless to say, I am hugely disappointed in the end product. After 3 coats of the beige the concrete still looks like bare concrete (maybe a hint of beige in some areas). the sage took 2 coats for a pale green color resulting. I am out of time and need to seal this patio for the winter to come.Go to your local big box store for the same concrete stain as this.** So this is an update after I used the acrylic sealer... The green sage color darkened slightly, but there is no change in the beige. There is a satin sheen to the sealer. I used a roller, and it was not as runny as the stain so did not drip everywhere.

Stain didn’t cover as I thought it would. Took several coats but was pleased with the end result.

This was applied over red brick colored pavers with a small paint brush. We ordered the dark brown & it covers pretty well. Had to apply 2 coats but I was happy w/the results. Let dry between coats to see if u need to reapply. Fairly easy to use & the color lasts. Not bad for the money!

It darkened the concrete but the sewer cover lids don’t sit truly flat so the color ran sometime after the first hour leaving streaks. I need to do more work to camouflage the streaky finish.

I love it. It made finishing our basement bathroom floor easy. The hardest thing for this old grandma to do was to get down on the floor to mark the striping tape. It is not perfect but I'm fine with it. I bought some expensive striping tape from the auto parts store it worked too well but it only covered about a third of the floor. There is striping frog tape but I tediously cut a smaller strip from the tape I had. Then, I poured the charcoal grey concrete stain into a spray bottle and sprayed the finer mist generously over all of the floor. Then, I put the setting for bigger drops that I spattered around. When that dried, I used a small amount of the white concrete stain and using a small paint brush did the veining, highlighting existing veins and creating more veins. The veining was so easy gliding over the previously stained floor. Then pulled up the tape. It leaked a little under the frog tape, but I happen to like that the best. It looked great but I did go over it all with a clear sealer. JUST A NOTE: This work was done on a never before sealed section of a 1936 basement floor that was cut out and new concrete section poured meeting the old concrete. The striping is more faded on the old concrete that was done with a similiar technique a couple of years ago, but is still visible.

I purchased this to stain the coping around my spa and pool area that was sun faded. I power wash my patio about every 90 days so I didn't bother with etching or cleaning anything. I just applied the stain as directed and it worked beautifully. It took me about 90 minutes to stain around the spa with two coats. I put down a puppy pad to keep my supplies on while I worked. I put the stain in an old pickle jar so it was easier to manage and I could put the lid on and shake the stain about every foot or so to keep the mixture even. I also had a small mister that I used to wet the coping prior to applying the stain. If I had any stain that ran down a tile I would just spray the area and then wipe it off with a wet paper towel. I put on a second coat and it darkened which was nice. I have since done around the entire pool area and I have ordered a gallon jug and I plan to do several coats before I seal it. I think I may try to stain my front sidewalk up to the house next.
