I had a "dry" snorkel for some 30 plus years and it performs flawless ... however, as it is a bit bulky, I thought it's time to invest into some new gear more suited for travel. I trusted the description and the brand but returning form our trip to Spain, I am not yet convinced, that this is "the piece" for me. When it works, the ball valve seems OK. However, on more occasions that not, that "ball" gets stuck. Yes, salt water and sand might have to do with that, but if it isn't intended for open water use, the company should say that. Also, the mouthpiece cannot be adjusted for wearing the snorkel left or right (something I assumed every snorkel would accommodate for that these days). Again, when it works, it is OK but about half of the time of my use, the ball was stuck, either somewhere in the middle (reduced breathing rate) or as it happened on one occasion - in closed position! I had expected more ...

Je n'ai pas pris une goutte d'eau par le tuba, même dans les vagues. C'est bien la première fois. Première saison : super matos. En route vers une deuxième saison... ( à noté que j'ai sécurisé le tuba avec une petite ficelle que j'attache au masque. Le système de fixation fonctionne, mais il ne m'inspire pas totale confiance. Or, voilà un tuba que je ne voudrais pas voir partir au fond de la mer...
