A sturdy, stable, efficient and inexpensive tripod. A little heavy and a little too long when folded.. Wish the length was shorter for carrying, but, otherwise, very functional.

I am putting together a type of amateur radio antenna known as an octopus dipole, for indoor use with an HF transceiver. In this application, this "speaker stand" is perfect. Setup is as simple as it gets, and the unit is far stronger than I'll ever need. When not needed, the tear down is just as fast as the setup, and the whole thing tucks nicely away in a closet.I chose this particular stand for the range of heights it can extend to, and the tubing diameter was perfect for the antenna hub I'm using.The photos show the stand in situ, with the antenna hub, and mini HF hamsticks for the 10, 20, 40, and 75M amateur radio bands installed.

Absolutely like everything about this tripod speaker stand!! Very sturdy with great support and easy to set up. I purchased 2 of them for my 15 inch DJ speakers 🔊 and ENOUGH SAID, WELL SATISFIED!!!
