These color changing lights are fun. They work well. There are so many colors! After the past year, I, appreciate fun. It is wizardry, magic, circus fun, to make lights do tricks remotely. The Feit app did not work. I went through the steps a dozen times. Installed, uninstalled, enabled, disabled, put in wifi info 6 times, entered pin numbers, gnashed my teeth.... Just before I threw the bulbs out in the snow, followed by Alexa herself, I requested help through the Alexa app by email. Echo's blue ring began to spin....in 15 minutes I tried the Feit app again, and the light bulbs came to life. Amazon customer service is wonderful.

It looks like an ordinary LED light bulb but with the Feit app you can turn the bulb on/off, dim it, or even change the color. I installed three on our deck and they work great. I can individually control each light or group them together so that they all operate from a single command. This saved me from having to replace my three-way switches with smart dimmer switches in an already crammed electrical box. I have used Feit smart plug-in switches for years to control my indoor and outdoor Christmas lights and they have been very reliable. One other nice feature is that you can set a schedule to control the bulbs, no need to ever come home to a dark house again. You just have to remember to leave the light switch in the on position. The color change feature is nice, you can do a nice orange for Halloween, red/green for Christmas, red/white/blue for 4th of July...

I think this is a good product. Like any new piece of AI equipment, it might take a few tries to get the hang of how to install and then connect to your smart home control like Alexa or Google Home. I have purchased 4 of these bulbs so far, and after a few trial and errors in the basically simple set up the first time, the rest of them were a breeze. Instructions that come with the bulbs are pretty clear although print is very small if you have eye sight issues you'll need some help to follow the instructions. Don't forget your glasses. I liked the first purchase of these cheaper than Phillips products given my budget, enough to make a second order. . So I guess that's the best recommendation. Test of time will give some idea of how long the bulbs last or if any problems develop, but for now they are just what I wanted and I feel like at this point, a good buy.

Not sure what the complaints from other reviewers are all about, mine work great. I have the Feit color changing bulbs in 12 different fixtures in my house. The oldest being almost two years. I have had zero failures with these bulbs. They were easy to set up with WiFi, the app and Alexa. They connect super quickly to the WiFi in the event I accidentally use the switch to turn them off or on and then want to voice control to change the brightness or color. Usually takes about 5 seconds when that happens, otherwise if it’s already connected it’s instantaneous. Another great feature is that the bulbs remember their last setting. As an example I put them on a dim red color in the bedroom overnight and if I were to hit the switch and shut off power to the bulbs, when I hit the switch back on they come back on dim and red (the last setting they had). If I had to do it all over again I would definitely buy these bulbs.

These were easy to install and setup. The FEIT App took a little getting used to, but I connected them to Alexa and now I can just say Lights On/Off and they work as advertised. I have 7 of them.
